It’s not to the level of an American hotel, but it is acceptable! Difficulty with the size of the room, I unfortunately tripped on a leg of a chair in front of the bed, it was narrow, and I still feel some pain! This I believe was a handicapped room, but there were minimal grips and slip free matting in the shower and the sink was nice, but no room for you toothpaste and brush! Saw two other rooms, suitcases had to be opened on the bed for lack of space, our room on the ground floor was comfortable temp wise but the upstairs rooms were noisy in the 100 building and hot as there was no air conditioning! These rooms would be okay in other seasons! The staff made up for the minor problems! They were very helpful and pleasant, sort of makes up for some of the lack of convenience! Hotel is a short walk around the corner to some nice markets and restaurants, not too far to the metro, if you don’t have difficulty walking, but I survived. Next time I will have a motor scooter with me, a folding one would be quite helpful getting arouNd!

Tired and risk of theft
The hotel is very tired indeed. The rooms are tiny and in serious need of redecoration and the bathrooms were no better. The breakfast was so disappointing that we stopped going after the first couple of days. To add insult to injury we had clothing and a substantial amount of money stolen from one of our rooms. When we spoke to the hotel about this they just refused to acknowledge that anything had happened. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Great Hotel for the price in a good area.
We were staying here for our honeymoon. We decided as we were only sleeping here it made sense to not go for a more expensive hotel. We were pleasantly surprised though. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room, especially the bed was very comfortable. To be completely honest, the hotel could do with some upgrading as certain parts looked a little tired but it was always clean. The area was fantastic! Very easy to access all Paris attractions via the metro that we as less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were so very welcoming and accommodating. The only drawback about my stay was the hotel does not have central air but I was supplied with a fan. Overall I am happy that I chose Pavillon Villiers Etoile and my first trip to Paris was magnificent :-).

Small rooms a little dated but clean, staff were very friendly, the hotel is a short walk from the metro and you can be in the centre of Paris within 10 minutes, small street market just round the corner and plenty cafes within easy walking distance

The rooms do not have Air Conditioning and tiny. Please make a note of this prior to booking a room. Since I am an Asian, I was able to adjust. For Western folks, this might not be the hotel if visiting Paris. Everything else was ok, including a closeby market and metro. If you do not care about the budget, size of room and air conditioning, this hotel is ok. If not, look for better options.

You get what you pay for
Tiny old room with air conditioning being an old fan that sometimes worked. But it was clean and cheap and the area was very good with food and transport nearby. Staff were generally good until they didn't book a taxi for our departure and stalled for ever before advising they could not get one, somehow we made it to our train in time, no thanks to the staff on duty. Most other customers we saw seemed to have booking issues so make sure you request exactly what you want, think many were actually trying to get one over the hotel. Would pay a bit more next time and get a better quality, but for the price, the hotel was okay. Breakfast was good ..

Pavillon Villiers Etoile poor quality 3 star hotel
Hotel was in an excellent residential area with lots of small shops and a wide choice of very good restaurants which the locals used. The hotel was tired and needed updating, The rooms were very small (even by Paris standards) with hardly enough room for luggage and only a very small wardrobe for clothes. The safe did not work. We had a change of room after 2 nights of noisy deliveries. The second night we were woken by noisy deliveries at 3.00, 4.00, 5.00 and 6.00 am! The rooms were colourless, stuffy and not very pleasant. They were dirty and again in need of painting & refreshing. The bathroom was adequate but was dirty and dated but the shower over the bath was good with plenty of hot water. We had a ask for the room to be cleaned, towels replaced and toilet paper! The photos of their other hotels in the lift looked very different and far more inviting. However, the beds were comfortable, the white duvets generous, and the pillows of good quality. Not a hotel to relax in but just about all right to sleep in. Nowhere to sit for 2 people. Even in June we needed to keep the windows wide open in order to get a flow of air through the room even when it rained, so could see into the rooms opposite and everything that happened in them! Lighting very poor. The front desk staff were very helpful but the 'managers/ owners?' in the office was not good at sorting out complaints (we were not the only ones to complain about the night deliveries). Not a hotel I would go back to.

Room safes are all non-functioning, had to wait to check in over an hour (given an excuse about cleaning staff problems) but a walk-in at that time got a room immediately, fridges are dirty, moldy, and hardly cool, carpets are stained and filthy, walls are dirty, one day didn't receive any housekeeping, had to ask for tissue 3 times before finally getting it. Staff were pleasant but full of excuses about why things weren't up to a better standard.

Wonderful staff at front desk and to BK restaurant, STOLE MY WALLET AFTER 4 days FROM MY ROOM Asked for Tissues ( Kleenex ) after 3 days , told me run out, never replaced , furniture in the lobby is old and beaten giving you a wary taste from the moment you open the door , my toilet seat broke after 6 days , they gaffer taped for the rest of my 10 days , I was for 20 days , I really think after my 40 years this hotel it is just maybe 2 stars

Budget friendly with great location.
Not the biggest, flashest or fanciest place....but price was great, room quiet and clean, staff helpful, bed was comfortable. Great little shops and eating places around the corner. Main tourist atractions in easy walking distance ( so long as you are not in a hurry ). Happy with our stay !

Nice hotel in a nice area
The hotel obviously need some renovation but it exceeded my expectations. I was impressed by by the layout of my room, the breakfast standard and the staff.

It's located in excellent place but not worth it
The hotel is quite dated. Rooms have broken tiles, lights, stained carpet, I can go on.. It's really a shame as it's located in an excellent place, good cafe, restaurants, metro links. But once you come back to your room it's quite depressing.. it ruins the excitement of your holiday and experience of that city/stay. We booked this only because Expedia sent us a few deals and offers. We should have read reviews on Google, our mistake.

Quiet hotel near the Villiers metro stop. There was plenty of food and a Monoprix a couple of feet away. The staff was very welcoming. I enjoyed my stay!

My Review
This hotel is a good choice for saving $$. Nothing fancy, just a decent room for a low price. Location was excellent, plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies. Metro is very close by. My only complaint was no complimentary breakfast. Expect a small room by American standards. Wifi was pretty good.

This is not my first stay in this hotel as it is in a quite neighborhood yet have a lot of restaurants cafes and markets near by not to mention villiers metro station that is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. During this visit i noticed some renovation work that is undertaken on some of the rooms which is a sign that they are always improving the quality of service delivered. Still this time the internet was down for the first day of my stay and worked out the following day and i did not get amy shower gel only hand soap. As for staff they are friendly, the hotel is clean and no matter what you leave in your room and how valuable it is you will come back and found it there (no theifs at all) i do recomend this hotel if you are visiting Paris for sure

We arrived at 1.00Pm, in the rain and snow, and told to put our cases behind bar and come back at 2.00 pm. When we arrived back at 2.10 pm, we had to wait 30 minutes to be told our room was not ready. No apology for kept waiting, then to be told that in room safe does not work, and none of the safes did not work in any rooms. We were offered a discount on the breakfast buffet, but we declined as the buffet is not to our liking

The room as such was okay. Not too dirty.The sheets were clean. But the toilet was a complete disappointment. It was really dirty and had stains around the inner bend. Even though we requested them to clean it, the stains remained. Guess it has been there for too long now, that it wouldn't go that easily. The empty tissue box was not replaced without our request. The people at the reception were really polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is great. There were metro station and supermarkets close by. A nice lovely park(Parc Monceau) is also at a walkable distance.

Superb Value
This is a good hotel for the price you pay. We were in a double room that was spacious enough and was clean. The room looked aged but we were not expecting luxury. The staff on front desk were helpful and spoke English. There was a mix up with our rooms on the first night, meaning we had to stay in a twin rather than a double but we didn't mind too much. Location is brilliant, just a few mins from Villiers Metro stop and close to shops and bakeries. The hotel also provide a handy phone but we did not use this. We will definitely be looking to stay here again when visiting Paris.

The website is accurate...
...but I didn't look closely enough to see how worn out everything is. I selected this hotel on price and location and my low expectations were met. For 2 people booked in a double there is no room at all to swing a hairbrush. All the room safes had been decommissioned. Staff were very helpful with directions etc and the breakfast was good with fresh croissants and pastries. On reflection there were many other central (better known) hotels in the same price range that I wish I had booked instead.

Lovely stay
Great location right beside a metro stop and walking distance to arc de triomphe and Montmartre. Situated on lovely streets with great cafes a couple of bars and shops. You get a phone to use during your stay which you can take out with you for maps, tips/reviews and even calls. 24 hour reception and you can leave your bags on the last day when you have checked out while you explore. Would definitely stay again.
