Warm stay on a cold and snowy December weekend
The staff is terrific and the young man who checked us in and out was a great info source on the RER and the construction going on. It's a comfy, warm small hotel in the absolute heart of Paris. I'll stay again.

Horrible place to stay
There is mold all over the shower to the extreme (actually smelling it and the spores), missing tiles on wall, hard bed, and you hear everything through the walls like listening to someone else's slumber party of family giggling or worse. Ceiling peeling paint, hole in seam of ceiling and wall. Just a horrible place from top to bottom for that much money, and a bathroom you cannot hardly move in beyond the mold.

Wonderful location. Small but adequate room. Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Only problem was the noise from other residents - especially the rattling of their keys going in and out of rooms. I could also hear phone conversations from other rooms during the night.

Pros: Linens and room very clean. Small elevator for bags at check in and check out. Very convenient to dining and shopping, Chatelet metro stop around the corner. Our RER B train from the airport exited across the road from hotel entrance. Convenience store next door with good selection of wine. Cons: quite noisy at night, our room faced the street and aforementioned train exit, and it was busy fairly late into the night. Partiers quit about 2-3 am then the streetsweepers start up at 6-7ish. Not a problem for me with earplugs, but my husband had some issues sleeping. Could not figure out how to program the safe in the closet, but didn't try that hard or ask the desk staff either, so that was on me. Desk staff polite and spoke good English, helpful with directions and willing to lend a corkscrew :)

Great hotel, steps from the metro at Châtelet les Halles, Rue du Rivoli, Le Louvre....so many things. The rooms would benefit from AC for sure as we stayed in 30 degree weather, but the hotel itself is a perfectly good base for a romantic stay in the city of love 😘

We booked this hotel purely for the location and we were very happy with our choice. This hotel is walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and many other landmarks / monuments in Paris. There are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. It is directly over a grocery store if you need anything in those regards. It is older, there is no A/C, BUT honestly it was so so perfect for getting around. It isn't like you are staying in your hotel that much while visiting Paris. Worth the booking!

The elevator is very tiny, just fit 2 skinny persons. It smells bad. Homeless sleep outside next to the door. Room small. Wifi is weak. But the stall is good. Location is convenient, we could walk to several interesting places.

I've stayed at this hotel before, I love the location, it's close to all the sites, The hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size. Slight dusty odour, but at least the windows open. There's a supermarket right next door , as well as the Châtelet metro station, you can take line 4 to gare de Nord.

I stayed for one night on a layover in the city and it was perfect. Clean, decent floor space for a small hotel room, simple enough for a short stay - exactly what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but it helped that I spoke French. There is a grocery store right next door and the neighborhood is great - right next to the Louvre area and the river. I would stay again!

Get what you pay for
Accommodation in paris is expensive, this is one of the cheaper options I found and it shows. Fair size rooms and friendly service but it’s run down and basic. Location is great for walking to lots of the top sights. Metro station and grocery shop is right outside the hotel which is very convenient.

For the price you can’t beat it. A no frills stay in a great location. No ac or fans so consider that in the summer. With the window open the temp was tolerable but the surroundings are loud. Probably best when it is cool out but if you don’t mind that the value is excellent. I got by with the window and some earplugs just fine.

The hotel is only a few feet from a subway stop and Rue de Rivoli. The air conditioner wasn’t working so I had to open the window, and it was extremely loud all night. With the window closed is was 80 degrees in the room

Great location. European size, but good for sleeping. Aged, but pretty well kept. The elevator was broken while I was there, so did have to carry my bag up three flights. I was allowed to check in early, but the housekeeper tried to enter while I was there. Small things. One night it seemed there were people who were in the same group in two rooms near me which were talking loudly in the hall, which was easy to hear, but otherwise pretty quiet. Overall it was good, and given price and location would stay again.

This is an excellent 2 star hotel. The location is central (although the street is a bit of a hang out for vagabonds). The staff were friendly and the rooms clean with hot water. Great value hotel. Would stay there again.

Hotel is located next to a Metro which is very noisy until around 2am. Room is small with uncomfortable bed. It was clean but could do with renovation. No smoke alarm nor sprinkler system, though may not be law in France (I would’ve felt safer had there been them)! It was ok as a base - I wouldn’t stay there again.

Despite the location, it was very quiet at night on the weekends which was great. The curtains in the room were very good at blocking out the light leading us to sleep in every morning. My only issues are, the one plug socket in the room was hanging off the wall, the toilet paper is worse than sandpaper and didn’t get topped up.

This is an acceptable 2 Star hotel. The room was clean, very basic decor; quite acceptable. The bathroom appeared to be recently nicely renovated I didn’t use any of the hotel services. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel location is fantastic; so close to the Metro and to many tourist attractions in Arrondisment 1 and 2.

Amazing location right next to the metro with multiple lines that run to main train stations. Within walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame, and many other beautiful attractions. Much cheaper than staying near the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, etc.

Nice for a short stay in downtown
Located in Rivoli, right at the heart of Paris and close to everywhere in 1st, 2nd and 3rd arrondissement of Paris. Room is small and compact and minimal amenities available. Would recommend for those travelling alone or in two for a short stay

I loved the location of this hotel, it was central to everywhere I wanted to go, the staff were awesome, there's a supermarket next door which is very convenient.The rooms were small but comfortable and clean, the bathroom was new. There is a very narrow staircase leading up to the rooms but I managed them with a medium sized suitcase, however there is a tiny lift, but as I'm not a fan of those so I didn't bother with it.overall I loved my stay here and would definitely stay again.

As someone who travels extensively worldwide, I found Hotel Flor Rivoli to offer little more than a hostel. The rooms are so tiny that two adults can barely walk around each other. The toilets are so close to the shower, you have to sit crooked to make room for your legs. Their elevator is the smallest I have ever seen, only large enough for one person and the spiral stairs will give you vertigo. If you are staying just one night and need a cheaper place with private bathroom, this will meet your needs. Anything longer, I would recommend spending a few dollars more and finding something newer. In all, I will not be returning to this property for future stays in Paris.
