It was a dream!!

Posted 26-Feb-2017
Pros: Everything.
Location: The location is beautiful, convenient, and there's a lot to do within a short distance.
The Roissy bus from CDG dropped us off right near the hotel, and this was crucial as we got into Paris pretty late at night. A shirt walk later, we were able to check in at even that late of an hour (near midnight). Check in was smooth, and we got some good recommendations for restaurants open late. The man behind the desk recommended a great place, and we were glad we took his suggestion. He clearly knows what's up. This quaint hotel hides so many wonderful surprises. There is an overall aesthetic and decor that is both pleasing to the eye and very original: the hallway lights have bowler hat covers (reference to Magritte, or The Unbearable Lightness of Being, or not)! Everything is cozy, and the people working behind the desk are incredibly helpful, kind, and patient with tourists. Plus, there's a huge bathtub...that's VERY rare in a hotel (especially in Europe). The hotel is conveniently located near Metro and bus stops, and there are a ton of cafés, restaurants, stores, and bakeries in the area. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and the best stores Paris has to offer. All in all, the hotel was the glue that bound the whole entire trip together.

best location for me

Posted 20-Feb-2017
Pros: location and view
Cons: better pillows
Location: behind the hotel, towards Louvre there is a plaza with restaurants. I think Nomad is a good. Also, nearby plaza there is Alan Ducasse chocolate shop.
In the middle of everything. Amazing views from the balcony: can see the Opera and take very nice pictures. The Deluxe Room is big for a hotel room in Paris (and is pleasant) and the bathroom is very nice. Pillows are hard. Breakfast is good. My husband wants to come back to this hotel and I agree with him.

Great Hotel and staff.

Posted 20-Jan-2017
The hotel is centrally located and close to the Galleria La Fayette and The Opera House. The reception staff were excellent, spoke English and so helpful in finding a good reasonably priced local restaurant for our arrival evening. The bedroom/ bathroom was comfortable and clean. Loved the huge bed. Highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast, was not included in our deal but we chose to pay extra for it and were glad we did.

There's no better in the City of Lights !

Posted 19-Jan-2017
Pros: Everything. I can't find a flaw at this hotel, and I even looked this time !!
I stay in Paris several times a year, and travel abroad for work over 300 days a year....so I know hotels...and this is the real deal. From the service (which is the best of the best), to the bar which is never crowded but has some of the best craft cocktails around, to the bellmen who have your luggage in your room before you even get your key, to the elevator which is the fastest in Paris, to the delicious breakfast, and oh, did I mention the amazing service ? It's an ideal spot for Business, or if you bring a family. The gym is nice; meeting rooms ample and well appointed; and the sleeping rooms are all unique and many with amazing balconies overlooking the opera or city - or both !!! I've searched for years for a ' home ' in Paris...and this is it. And best of all - you can walk to anything: Shopping, the Seine, Louvre, wine bars, cafe's, ....it's the center of the center.....!

We came as a family for Christmas. Four adults. Never having been to Paris before. We chose the hotel for many reasons, and it delivered on all levels. I loved the hotels history, decor tastefully done. Staff, rooms, cleanliness, and attention to detail... perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay, we shall be back soon!!

Nice hotel in the Vendome area

Nice hotel, space bathroom but very small toliet area. The room felt clean, though the shape of the room was a little awkward.

A real 4 star hotel with a knowledgeable concierge

Posted 27-Nov-2016
This was my first stay in this hotel and I was really blown away by the experience. I arrived early morning on a transatlantic flight and although their check in time starts at 3 pm the receptionist assured me she do her best to get me a room as soon as possible and she was true to her word. The room was large considering hotel rooms in Paris tend to be on the smaller side and had been recently renovated with a well appointed bathroom with a real shower door and great water pressure and even had a heated towel rack. Unlike most 4-5 star hotels I have stayed on Paris where they do not clean your room till 3-4 pm this hotel had excellent housekeeping. On more than one occasion I came back to my room at noon after leaving at 10 am to find that my room had been cleaned. The location is excellent. This is going to be my go to hotel in Paris.
