It was a dream!!
The Roissy bus from CDG dropped us off right near the hotel, and this was crucial as we got into Paris pretty late at night. A shirt walk later, we were able to check in at even that late of an hour (near midnight). Check in was smooth, and we got some good recommendations for restaurants open late. The man behind the desk recommended a great place, and we were glad we took his suggestion. He clearly knows what's up.
This quaint hotel hides so many wonderful surprises. There is an overall aesthetic and decor that is both pleasing to the eye and very original: the hallway lights have bowler hat covers (reference to Magritte, or The Unbearable Lightness of Being, or not)! Everything is cozy, and the people working behind the desk are incredibly helpful, kind, and patient with tourists. Plus, there's a huge bathtub...that's VERY rare in a hotel (especially in Europe).
The hotel is conveniently located near Metro and bus stops, and there are a ton of cafés, restaurants, stores, and bakeries in the area. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and the best stores Paris has to offer.
All in all, the hotel was the glue that bound the whole entire trip together.
