30 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Lobby area was nice. Pillow had a stain on it. And the vacuum was left in front of my room my whole stay. Rooms are very small.

Lovely, Quaint Hotel Near Eiffel Tower

Posted 17-Jan-2017
This was such a lovely hotel. and I truly would have given it excellent marks but the room was always so chilly when we came back in from a day walking outside in January - when it was cold and rainy. The thermometer refused to be increased from 25 degrees C. Even more, the room was absent of any teas or coffees - you have to pay 4 euros for a small cup of coffee in the kitchen (let alone if you'd like breakfast it's 14 euros!). The hotel otherwise was convenient for travel on the metro and allowed you to see gorgeous views of the Eiffel Tower at night. The staff was somewhat decent - even though some said they spoke English, they did not respond to our queries when asked in English. I had to muster up some of my high school French to make our inquiries.

Stay here!

Posted 02-Dec-2016 on Hotels
We enjoyed or stay, at first the room seemed tiny, but 3 days after we felt differently. The room and hotel was great, exactly what we needed and wanted. Our room was cleaned everyday. The Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. tiny mini bar with non alcoholic drinks, and 2 euros any item. We borrowed plates and drinking glasses from the kitchen. Several ATM's, super markets, 1-2 blocks away. I would recommend this hotel for the stay, to sleep and rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Metro 1 block away. I'm all about saving $, so this hotel was perfect, clean and quiet. Tip - get a room away from the elevator, and a higher floor. Elevator is sometimes noisy of people arriving with luggage or checking out with luggage. Higher floor rooms is less noisy because of the street traffic. Stay here!

Fun hotel; very small rooms

Not expecting a large room but the room is extremely tight. However, there is very wise optimization of closet space. Front Desk Agent Laluca was very accommodating. Love the decor; bed as very comfortable.

Hotel nicely situated in a more residential than tourist part of the city. Beautiful patisserie right at the corner and metro about a 5 minute walk away. Room is small but well appointed.

Not a four star hotel

Posted 28-Nov-2016
As the subject says, it is not a four star hotel as advertised. But overall, you get what you pay for and it is still reasonable as a 3 star hotel and for the price. To justify the rating, I will give a few example. Only couple of plastic cups in the bathroom, no drinking cups in the room at all. There is a mini bar for charged bottle water and drinks. Lobby has tea and coffee also for a fee. The hotel staff are nice, but does not give accurate info. For taxi to airport, asked two staffs and one estimated 50-60 euro and the other said 65 euro. Booked taxi to airport through the hotel and it costed 85 euro. This is Sunday morning with no traffic. Hope this detailed info helps

Great quaint european hotel.

Posted 08-Nov-2016
Pros: Staff, location.
Cons: The room could use an update to the wallpaper and floor.
Location: Two blocks from the metro on a good line for easy access. Safe to walk around- even when I walked there alone at 11pm. Near starbucks, bakery, grocery
The hotel was great. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. They all speak English very well and are hospitable, helping to get cabs, transportation to the airport, give directions, and finding things I forgot (electricity converter/adaptor). The location is also great- in a safe, artsy neighborhood near shopping, restaurants and the metro (two blocks away). If you stand on the corner you can see the Eiffel tower- beautiful at night. As with most European hotels, the room was small. It did have everything we needed and there was enough space for us to move around.
