One night stay

Posted 12-Feb-2017
Pros: Good value for money, staff friendly and helpful. We checked in before the 11am time and were able to leave our suitcase there after checking out.
Stayed at the Hotel Eden for 1 night. Extremely well located to visit Montmartre. Really nice part of the city. Felt like we were in a market town with everything you might need around. Didn't have breakfast there as there is plenty of brasseries offering breakfast around.

Good location and clean

Posted 01-Feb-2017
Pros: Location, clean
Cons: needs an upgrade of sink, shower, keys
Location: Maison Landemaine Jules Joffrin
Check in was quick and easy. Water in the shower and the sink was not going through. The key to the door was not working so the concierge had to come up with us for the two nights we were staying there to open the door with a key. Bed was clean and comfortable, but there was not much more space in the room for anything else. Room had windows overlooking the street and was nice to wake up to the view of streets of Paris.

Very welcoming, helpful and comfortable

Posted 19-Oct-2016
Pros: Only 3 stops from the Gard de Nord on the metro. Friendly and accommodating Helpful staff
Cons: Room was slightly small for 2 people
Location: Market on a Saturday Nice cafes nearby Sacre Coeur just up the hill
Enjoyed my stay - staff very helpful and accommodating with requests. Room was comfortable, clean but only criticism was slightly on the small side for 2 people. Metro & Sacre coeur easily accessible from the hotel. Didn't have breakfast but it looked very appetising - tea and coffee always available in the lobby. The hotel very kindly allowed us to leave our bags on the check out day so we could enjoy more time in Paris before our departure without having to carry the suitcases around with us.

Great stay

Great hotel with a good location. Montmartre is one of the good neighborhoods in Paris. You are however pretty far from all the tourist attractions. We used the metro to get everywhere. Friendly staff. Breakfast was extra but worth it.

The room was a bit small 12sq meters and it was not visible until after I reserved on hotwire (not a good think because otherwise I will have chosen another room)

Nice Stay

Posted 29-Aug-2016 on Hotels
Overall I did enjoy my stay at the hotel. Things I was extremely upset about was there was no A/C and no one in the reviews mentions it. for a hotel this popular, it should really invest in itself. I would return but only during winter months to the hotel. Also the iron using situation was bad. It said upon request what it really meant was I had to go to the dirty laundry room myself to press my clothes openly after they set it up on a table where they keep dirty towels. Please invest in 4 irons and rotate them. Seriously. I like the ease of the hotel. Rooms are NOT like the pictures, but still good, small, but I was alone and I managed. Neighborhood is interesting. Metro is literally a min next door. And great Cafe I found next door, Le Nord Sud. Try it! All the people at the front desk I met were nice!
