Friendly, helpful staff; great neighborhood

Posted 12-Aug-2015
Stayed here five nights with wife and son. We found it an ideal base for exploring Paris. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but not fancy. Good-sized updated bathroom. The local neighborhood was a nice mix of locals and tourists. Only negative was that hotel is on a busy road that was a little noisy. It didn't bother me. But my wife is a lighter sleeper than I. The 85 bus stops at the corner and a metro stop is a two-minute walk away. Was exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely Hotel in Good Area

Posted 28-Jul-2015
Pros: The hotel is in a good location, the room we had was spacious for a Paris hotel and the staff were very helpful.
Myself and my boyfriend went for a 6 night break in Paris. this hotel is in a good area, a stones throw from a great restaurant, bakery and metro station. Up the hill (up about 4 flights of stairs) you will find Monmarte, the sacre coure and from there a short walk to the Moulin Rouge.

Value for what it cost.

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: It's historic location, nice to be out of Paris and able to explore a suburb less touristy, but still be able to get into the city by nearby metro.
Cons: A fridge would have been nice. Although there were tea and coffee available at reception it's nice to be able to make my own, and cool drinks.
Location: Montmartre Museum, great gem which includes Renoirs garden, overlooks the cabaret where Picasso and Modigliano hung out before fame. Sacre Cour too.
Older hotel but value for the price. Staff friendly. We were there to explore Paris so only really wanted a place to shower and sleep. Good internet connection.

Montmarte is the area to stay

Posted 26-May-2015 on Hotels
Budget hotel was perfect for us. The area is nice and safe at night time. The bar across the road serving food late. Saturday and Sunday market is just around hotel area, so we were able to have our fresh coffee every morning. All local, around 20 minutes walking distance, places are cheap enough and good quality food compare to centre. Every morning we were able to get a bottle of champagne, fresh food from the market and go to the centre of city to have lunch/picnic beside the Louvre, or under the Eiffel Tower. Hotel staff is nice, helpful and friendly. Room is small (which we expected for Paris's budget hotel) but very clean, with daily room service. There's plenty to see around area itself and only 20 minutes away from the centre by underground/metro. Underground is simple enough to understand. Shuttle available to 2 main airports, but it's also good enough connection to other airports. We enjoyed our short trip very much, and definitely will be back to stay in Montmartre again. It helps us to feel the real Parisian life, and learn a bit of French.

sejour parfait. Seul point négatif, l'odeur des remontées d'égouts. Une fois le ports de la salle de bain fermée, aucun soucis

Très belle adresse

Posted 13-May-2015 on Hotels

Good Stay

Posted 12-May-2015 on Hotels
The hotel a short walk from a metro station, making it very easy to get around the city. However, it is a few stops away from the tourist places. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was a slight odor of sewage from the pipes in the bathroom and the walls are thin making it easy to hear your neighbor. The breakfast is nothing special. Overall, I would stay here again (it was our second stay) and would recommend this place.
