The price and location made this hotel attractive. It has unusual decor, not to our taste, but not offensive, either. The staff were helpful enough, although we had little need to interact. We had been warned about the long, steep, circular stairs, and it was no exaggeration! They are not recommended to anyone with balance problems. Our room was one of the ones with shower, which was nice, although it was so teeny small that only slim people could manage easily. The toilet in the hall required tiptoeing over some narrow steps. Best element was the beautiful terrace looking out over the garden court, which was a nice place to sit when no one else wanted to smoke there.
