The room wasn't expensive and the breakfast was cheap and good. The room was not isolated very well because we could hear a lot and the room was pretty small. But very good choice for small budget.

Good accommodation for the price and right around the corner from the Metro. Room was well sized and serviced daily. Shared shower and toilets were alright. Not the best area of Paris to stay in - was very loud and did not feel safe outside at night. But again, excellent accommodation for the price you pay.

Convenient location with 2 grocery stores, 3 boulangeries, 1 patisserie, internet shop, metro a few feet away, marchee around the corner, rotisserie next door, cafe on the corner.

Nice and helpful staff and clean hotel It has only two showers for the whole hotel and the toilets are super inconvenient and tiny, but for that price you can not ask for much in Paris.

Based on some traveler’s reviews I was a bit put off and started thinking about alternatives. Actually, it wasn’t that bad and based on price and location, an affordable choice. So to all those who expect 5-star for the price of one, go elsewhere.

This place is absolutely filthy and is a brothel doors are open and closing on that long there is drug dealers in the Streets it was the most unsafe filthy place I've ever been do not go here do not go anywhere near here warned

If you want to walk up 93 winding steps to your swaybacked mattress overlooking THE single noisiest street in Paris -- if not all of Europe -- this is the spot for you! On the plus side, the room was a decent size, and you certainly can't beat the price; the neighborhood is very colorful, with some amazing little hole-in-the-wall dirt cheap African restaurants with heaping plates of delicious exotic food for pennies, which almost makes up for having to climb halfway up a staircase to squeeze yourself into a tiny toilet in the Hotel de la Poste. Almost.

Pretty good for the price!
Overall a good place to stay to explore the city, good location within easy reach of Metro. Very basic and in need of some love and attention. Bathroom and sheets were clean, everything else not so much. It was all we needed for a brilliant price.

Handicapped issue
It was a good location as I am handicapped and the metro was close by as well as two major grocery stores, a market, and internet shop as well as three boulangeries and restaurants. When I had to rest in bed for the entire day, it was but just a short walk to get necessities. However, no hotels and staff when requested would help me carry items up to the third floor - four floor in US terms.

French famous for being unwashed, no wonder why
It is very sad how how the management can miss in so many small details to make a stained more comfortable. I don't know what what is this with the French that they have to put a hen shower for their guests. Not only a hand shower, it's a cheap hand shower. What is also said that no matter what request you make it is not honoured. In my case I pulled a muscle on my knee and I was having difficulties to walk full stop when I got to the hotel they put me on a 5th floor with no lift. I requested something closer to the ground floor if there was and he said the hotel was full and literally walked away without any concern.

El barrio estaba lleno de yonquis y gente rara. La cama era un colchon sobre otro, te hundes y duermes muy mal. La higiene fatal, lo unico que estaba limpio era el suelo y el lavabo. La pared de la ducha pegajosa y el inodoro marron. Solo teníamos 1 sobre pequeño de jabon para 2 personas y 3 noches,pedí otro y solo me dieron una pastilla pequeña de jabon para manos...tuve que comprar uno fuera. No lo recomiendo
