We had a pleasant two night stay at the hotel. The room was perfect for our stay in Paris being close and walkable to most things we wanted to do. We frequent Paris and know how most rooms in the city are small. My only issue was when you showered water would come out of cubical really easily and all floor, flooding the bathroom. The breakfast was good and had a very good selection on offer. We also had luggage stored before and after check in/check out and there was no issue with that. Overall we had a nice stay and would return.

Expensive, however Prelude Opera had air conditioning when most hotels did not during the heat wave and most importantly each staff member were very attentive and helpful.

What I didn't like is they sent out an email asking what we needed prior to check in and I requested an iron but they never brought one to the room. Also, check in was at 2:30 and my room wasn't ready til after 3 PM

What can I say, the hotel was in a perfect spot, everything is near by, I mean you really don’t need a transportation to walk around the area, Paris opera only 5 minutes walk, La Louvre museum 15 minutes walk, Gallery Fayette ,5 minutes walk , I mean all kind of restaurants and store are in a walking distance. Love it 🙏

Very nice hotel!
Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly service. The room was small but nicely decorated and comfortable, quite clean and well-maintained, with high-quality L'Occitane amenities. Also, unlike many city-center hotels, it was very quiet, for a peaceful night's sleep, because the soundproofing is good and the window faced only an inner courtyard. The breakfast is quite good -- would be nice to have some non-dairy/lactose-free options.

Good location, but that’s about the only positive. Run down and faded. Will definitely not come back, even at half the price. Unpleasant smell, old carpets in the room. Difficult to find, in a gated street. Could have been great, if only the night porter bothered to answer the doorbell. As it was, I waited 15 min in the street at midnight to get through the gate, and in the end I sneaked in with guests at the neighbouring hotel. Oh, but the orange juice at breakfast was great.

When booking our room was sold as a "superior room", however when we walked into the room it was so tiny that i immediately became claustrophobic and I went back to request a different room. The 2nd room was still small but at least the window provided some sunlight. When booking ask for a higher floor so your window allows some sunlight. Also no kidding the elevator does NOT fit 2 people with suitcases. We had to go up one at a time. I was VERY VERY disappointed with this hotel. The folks at the front desk did the minimal required, only Pasqua was pleasant. One of the men at the front desk looked like i was inconveniencing him when we needed extra pillows.

It was good but the room looked better in photos. Its a bit cramped. Building elevator is very tiny, two people with small luggage can't fit together. Wifi is very poor.

Never had Wi-Fi entire time. Bathtub drain was clogged so we stood in a foot of water while we showered. When I brought it to their attention they said they didn’t know what to do. They tried giving us a hot spot for internet but that never worked. The room was large which was nice and ac worked great.

Location is good, staff were friendly at check-in, easy check-in, assisted with organizing taxis for the airport. Rooms were small, but clean. Elevator is very small, try to stay on a lower floor. We had two rooms on the 5th floor. Didn't use the wifi. Didn't have breakfast, but it seemed standard fare. Reasonable for the price. Would recommend to friends for weekend stays.

Bigger room then most in Paris. Would stay here
We stayed here one night before flying home and 4 nights another hotel considerably smaller. This tripple room was large and very comfortable, area with lots of restaurants. Bars, stores yet the hotel is quiet ...and off to the side from the noise. The only negative read the tiny ancient elevator. Don't know about breakfast, we ate out. Would stay here again.

Small boutique hotel tuck away from a very quiet and safe spot in the city. Pleasant staff who are very obliging and speak English. Accessible to all major CBD tourist attractions within walking distance. Lots of good restaurants around the area with menu in English. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent choice for free parking outside hotel
The main reason for choosing this hotel was the availability of parking. This is quite unusual for hotels in the centre of Paris. It worked out perfectly for us. It is limited though and is on a first come first served basis. Hotel was fine. Rooms spotlessly clean but just a little bit tired/dated. We didn’t have breakfast so am unable to comment. Overall very good value for money as in an excellent location in the heart of the city.

Staff were lovely and very helpful and kind to us as English speakers. Hotel room was small but livable for three people. Location was fantastic, so close to metro and walkable to everything. Breakfast was amazing, try the eggs. Decor is so cute! Lovely little hotel.

Overall I'd recommend the hotel with a few caveats. \ 1. he service was incredible from when we first arrived to when we left. Great staff. 2. The pictures were misleading as the rooms were quite small and it was very noisy. 3. The noise from outside woke us up each night we stayed. And the room walls were very thin so we heard anyone in the halls or next rooms and it was quite disruptive.

Only good thing was the location (lots of places to eat around). Elevator broken for 4 days, we had to use the spiral stairs to the 4th floor every single day (which is not bad, but after a whole day walking around the city, you kind of want to use the elevator). Fire (false) alarm woke us up 2 days early in the morning. They advertise the hotel as if it had self laundry facilities, but it was a service with a charge. Some staff at the front desk were helpfull, but others not at all. House keepers would go into the room even with the sign of not disturbing. It was a terrible experience overall, there are many hotel options, stay away from this one.

Friendly hotel in a great location.
Hotel is tucked away from the main road so very little street noise. We stayed in a family room and had plenty of space for 2 children and 2 adults. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Two minute walk to the metro and only a short walk to many top tourist spots. Would definitely recommend.

Conveniently located next to the subway station
The mini suite is comfortable for a family of 3 or even 4. The triple room is too small for 3 people. There is a 2x3.5 ft elevator! Good for luggages only but at least there is an elevator. Staff is helpful, particularly Diddier and Jerome. I would stay again at this hotel.
