Great hotel, great location

I would recommend this hotel to any of my relatives and friends that visit Paris. St. Germain de Pres os the perfect place to stay. The hotel is a modern gem in a wonderful environment.

昨年の初フランスでは1区の4つ星に滞在しましたが、今年はよりフランスらしさが味わえそうなサン・ジェルマン・デ・プレ地区に3泊滞在。ホテル選びはかなり悩みましたが、写真やコメントを見てベルアミに決定。大正解でした! 【環境】サン・ジェルマン・デ・プレ教会・駅、カフェ・ド・フロール、カフェ・ドゥ・ マゴ、ラデュレ、レンタサイクル(Velib')など全て徒歩1分。通りから一本入っているので街中なのにとても静か。 【治安】フランス全土で7/26まで緊急事態宣言が出ていて、機関銃を持った4~5名グループの警察や軍隊の人を多く見掛けました。日本では警察官でも銃を持つ姿を見たらゾッとしますが、パリではなぜかホッとする感覚にビックリしました。ルーヴル美術館館内も軍隊の人が巡回しています。 ホテル周辺は終日人通りが多く、サン・ジェルマン・デ・プレ教会は朝から軍隊の人が警備しています。他のサイトに書かれている女の子の集団(アンケートを装った詐欺やスリ)には全く出くわしませんでした。パリ市内でも安全なエリアではないでしょうか。 【スタッフ】 チェックイン時間より早く着きましたが、直ぐに部屋に入れて、しかもフロントの女性が丁寧に案内してくれました。 ラウンジやコンシェルジュの男性は終止にこやかかつ丁寧で、正直昨年の4つ星ホテルとは雲泥の差を感じました。 最終日、空港に向かう途上でホテルのセキュリティBOXにパスポートや財布を預けたままだった事を思いだし、即ホテルに引返しました。 預けたコンシェルジュが昼までの勤務との事で、午後の担当に申し送りしておく。と言われ私達も安心していたのですが、こちらがうっかり引換券を渡さなかった事もあってのアクシデントでした。それでも、引返した分のタクシー往復運賃は「こちらのミスです」との事でホテル側が精算し、当初の約束通りの運賃で再度送ってもらいました。 唯一のアクシデントでしたが、支払いの面だけでなく、若いコンシェルジュの対応の誠実さは素晴らしかったです。 【部屋】 ホテル雑誌に取り上げられるだけあって、小規模ホテルですが各所に細やかな配慮とセンスを感じました。 都内ホテルのツインルームよりも部屋は若干狭いものの、スタッフの対応と立地の良さでカバーされました。部屋はとても清潔です。歯ブラシはありません… 【食事】 せっかくフランスに来たので、全て外で食べました。 ホテルの目の前には昼夜の食事時にはいつも行列のできるビストロが有り、一度お昼をとりました。食事メニューはその日のセットのみ(サラダ、お肉、ポテト)。デザート飲物は別です。 そのほか、ホテルで紹介されたイタリアン、パン屋、ビストロはどこも大変美味でした。 【総括】 スタンダードダブルで1泊約4万円でしたが、立地、治安、ホテルの質、交通の便、ショッピングなど全てにおいて価格設定は妥当もしくはそれ以上と思います。 特に今のフランスでは安全第一にホテル選びされる事をお勧めします。

Amazing weekend!!!

One of the best!!!! Amazing staff, lovely room, perfect location to explore and walk the streets. Each time I go to Paris, this is my preferred hotel! The bar is great too. Excellent breakfast. The concierge is super!!! And I love a hotel where the windows open and you can feel the cool night air as well as hear the sounds of the Paris nightlife.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location

Pros: Great design, well-appointed and fantastic location
Cons: The air conditioning in the room was not working well for the first two nights. It took two requests to staff, but they eventually improved the AC.
Location: Great location in Saint Germain de Pres between Cafe Flore and Cafe les deux magots. Convenient to all of Paris via the Metro next to the hotel.
Very good experience, with prompt, friendly professional service.
