Location and pleasant, helpful staff

Pros: The location was perfect for walking to locations we wanted is see. Also that staff was excellent - see above for the only exception.
Cons: Move the gray haired concierge to a non customer contact position.
Location: Many eating and shopping choices.
Everything was nicer and friendlier than expected - except the older gray haired concierge. From the first contact, with the front desk personnel to check out 16 days later every single person was friendly and professional. The two other concierge were very friendly and extremely helpful. The young men that help the concierge were also friendly and helpful. The bellboy friendly and helpful. The bar staff friendly and helpful. The older gray haired concierge mean, rude and disrespectful. I'm shocked that he has that job. He made walking through the lobby uncomfortable. Never a welcome or smile. It is clear that management insists on a professional approach when dealing with its' customers, not sure why that one concierge is still working in a customer contact position. The Overall and Hotel Staff would have received a 5 rating if not for that one person. He will probably be happy to know that he affected our vacation in a negative way.

Great balcony close to centre of paris

Great hotel, but poor air con in middle of summer. Also fridge didn't work and door to balcony didn't lock properly

Ok, but a bit tatty round the edges

Cons: Could do with room been refurbished. Lift too small but little they can do to improve
Location: Centrally located in a nice area of Paris
The hotel is ok. Public areas better than the rooms. The room was alright, but a little small, and in places the wallpaper was coming off wall, and the washbasin was cracked. Also the air conditioning was not working, and so a fan was in the room which we had to keep on at max just to keep the room at reasonable temperature despite the outside temperature not been that warm. Lift was not very good, lucky to get 2 people plus luggage in at one time, so generally you had to walk up stairs to room. Had some extras such as minibar which you have to pay for, dressing gown, a small safe, although not big enough to put iPad in. I know review sounds negative, but overall it wasn't bad, just nothing special.

Nice hotel, excellent location for all Paris sites

Really nice staff, very helpful. Lovely big room with terrace was superb, but starting to need a bit of attention as getting tatty. Carpet a bit threadbare etc..... Food in the Hotel was nice, limited bar, only 2 white wines to choose from, but sufficient. Overall had a lovely trip.

Overpriced and understaffed.

Very disappointed. Had a very nice memory from a stay several years ago, but its been bought by Hilton and has sadly gone down hill.

Douche froide mais il faut payer 100% quand même

L'hotel est plutôt pas trop mal dans l'ensemble, mais il y a deux très mauvais points. 1/ N'ayant pas d'eau chaude pendant une journée et surtout pour la douche (panne, ça arrive), on serait en droit d'attendre un geste commercial. J'en avais parlé la veille du départ avec la responsable de la réception, qui a dit qu'elle ferait le nécessaire pour mon check out; mais le lendemain, lors du check out, rien du tout...donc je me permets de signifier mon mécontentement,..et le receptionniste finit par m'offrir la taxe de séjour (2€!!). Après mon petit-déjeuner, le responsable de je ne sais quoi m'a demandé ma carte de visite pour me recontacter et voir s'ils peuvent faire quelquechose. En fait, n'ayant eu aucun contact depuis 2 mois, j'en déduis que c'était peut être une tactique pour éviter que je me plaigne? En tout cas, je trouve cela honteux qu'un hotel de ce prétendu standing ne fasse rien quand ils ne peuvent fournir le plus élémentaire des services qu'est une douche chaude. 2/Meme si les salles de fitness des hotels Parisiens sont souvent petites et sombres, celle ci bat les records, avec 3 appareils très vétustes et bas de gamme, dont le "marcheur" en panne, le vélo avec des programmes inréglables et une pédale tordue. Enfin, pas d'oeufs brouillés au petit-déjeuner, mais plutôt de la soupe d'oeufs brouillés.
