I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent location if you’re happy to use the metro, the proximity to ‘république’ metro stop (5min walk) means that all attractions are easily within reach without any complicated journeys. We made the most of the lovely bakery next door and the 24h corner shop just beyond that. Also a short walk to the canal where you can find a variety of restaurants and bars. Fab!

Hotel is well located near several metro lines. Good restaurant and bar choices nearby. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are small but sufficient. A bit of street noise but after an overnight flight, nothing really mattered except a comphy bed. Staff was very helpful.

Nice ladies at the reception who worked hard to relocate me a quiet room so I could rest in the afternoon.

Our only issue was the loss of £50 and €50 or €60 euros from out of the safety deposit box behind reception because our room safe was faulty. Otherwise the hotel was in a great location easy to get to places either via the Metro or the Hop on and Off Bus, breakfast was reasonable for a city and the room was nice and the beds comfory. If we hadn't had the issue with the loss of the money would have recommended this hotel very highly. All the staff were very helpful, but both night porters/manager were very new and didn't know the answers to questions especially when we realised the money was missing, at midnight the night before we left. We had to wait to speak to Olga in the morning at 7am, she was running late and our transport to airport arrived on time at 7.20am so unfortunately the issue was not satisfactory sorted before our departure. Never had any money go missing ever before so was so shocked that people can be do dishonest. Also feel foolish for trusting them.

Wonderful hotel

We checked in for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. The room was cozy with a beautiful window view and hanging planter. Olga at the desk was delightful and engaging. The bakery next door had wonderful croissants and we chose that over the breakfast at the hotel since we just wanted something light in the morning.

Disappointing stay

The hotel is centrally located to a lot of the attractions in the heart of Paris. You can either walk up to 20min or take a quick train ride to your desired destination. The room is very tiny, but it wasnt the room size that left me disappointed. I encountered a rude staff member while trying to gain access to the hotel early one morning. Also, the shower stall leaked water onto the floor despite have the sliding door being closed. The hotel staff overall was very helpful and pleasant, it wasnt until I tried to gain access to the hotel at 4am one day that I encountered a problem. I was told the front desk is staffed 24hrs. Upon arrival no was there and the door was locked. After a couple of minutes of pressing the buzzard and knocking on the door a staff member appeared in the distance however he was busy in the mirror fixing his hair. Instead of warmly greeting us after opening the door he asked why didnt we ring the bell. I ignored his rudeness and attempted to go to my room. The main chamber door to my particular room was closed & locked. I was never given a key to the chamber door, only to my room. I went downstairs explained the situation, he took my card to re issue my access. I went back upstairs and the card did not give me entry to the chamber door. I had to go downstairs again and explain the situation. No apologies were offered he just gave me a new card for the chamber door.

Nice enough boutique hotel if you plan on being...

Out a lot during your stay in Paris. WiFi was incredibly shorty- No irons in room Closest outlet for charging across the room and not near a table ( I had to put items on the floor) Was on the second floor so go LOTS of street noise (not a huge deal) Incredibly small showers that leaked into the toilet area. Cute breakfast though. Nice enough staff that spoke English.

Reliable Experience

Pros: Location; Bed size.
Cons: Hotel is getting a little worn. Still a decent place for the money but I've stayed here before a few years ago and it's a little different.
Great location and excellent daytime staff. The night staff is not as nice but wasn't bad. Good wifi & attractive hotel lobby. The rooms are starting to show their age but overall it was a good stay at a decent price and I'd stay here again without hesitation.
