I'm a teacher who took a student to meet her pen pals. We had a hotel room in Paris. We had to go to see the pen- pals in Poitiers. They took the gifts that I had received and purchased, sublet our room and gave us a smaller room when we returned. Quite a shock when our key didn't work! No compensation....they said they needed time to investigate. They even asked if my insurance would cover it!!!!

We are very sorry and also surprised that you felt compelled to post this misleading review, as your version makes us look negligent and inattentive to our customers’ needs.
Indeed, there has been a miscommunication concerning the fact that you were leaving the room for some days. However, not only were you given the best attention by all our staff at the time of you reporting the incident, but our managers personally met you to fully explain the procedure to follow for refund. Taking into account the follow-up done by the hotel, we reckon that your comment is highly unfair.
