Pleasant hotel, fascinating area, excellent staff
The most impressive thing about the hotel was the friendly, helpful and very efficient staff. We arrived jet lagged and were able to check in early which really helped my children acclimatize to the city. We received excellent service from the reception desk with the hotel's facilities and also with excursions, directions and organization of our visit. The lady who organizes the breakfast was also very capable, pleasant and friendly, as was the housekeeping staff. It is convenient that there is a well equipped corner store right next door and also a very agreeable restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner right across the street. The view from our room was spectacular -- we could see the sunrise over the city and the sunset -- and heard the bells from the church of St. Eustache ringing the hours (they don't ring after eight p.m.) The square outside is where Henri IV was assassinated in 1610!
