Very convenient location.

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: Very helpful staff. Ability to securely store luggage if you arrive before check in or leave after check out. Nice rooms with everything you need.
Location: See above
As well as being a nice property the location is great. Just around the corner from shopping (Les Halles), Metro and RER station, and many restaurants. Also an easy walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame and Centrer de Pompidou. Although there is an on-site breakfast available - explore the surrounding area for outstanding options.

Bypass this Citadines Les Halles

Posted 18-May-2017
Hard to find location even if you are right on top of it. In 2015 we stayed at Citadines Aparthotel St Germain de Pres in the Latin Quarter right on the Seine river close to Pont Neuf which we loved even if rooms were a little more dated at that Citadines. Rooms are clean but at this price point in Paris its alll pretty sparse and minimalistic but 300 sq ft w minimal kitchen facilities we find both hotels very functional. The staff at Citadines les halles need some serious re-training ... barely a bonjour or a thanks for staying with us, snotty front desk personnel who can barely tear their faces away from their computers as if they were security monitoring the premises even when it was just us in the lobby. One tall dark and handsome front desk manager was most kind and gracious but he was truly the exception. At odd inconsistent times they lock the front sliding glass doors ( maybe fearing the homeless would steal free teabags from the lobby?) My husband and i returned one afternoon loaded down with shopping bags and backpacks n my husband put one finger between the doors to trigger them to open and a female staff member at the front desk yelled at us in front of other guests that if we break the front door they eould charge us for it. At an average $280 US per night I was a tad peeved. The non-front desk staff are super friendly like maids and cleaners. Overall i would go back to the other nicer Citadines St Germain de pres. I dont need to feel like an unwelcome guest.

Well located apartment/room

Posted 15-May-2017
Great location and facilities. Our room looked onto vibrant square - noisy with windows open but didn't bother us. (I think ours was one of the premium rooms - some of the smaller rooms appeared to look onto the inner courtyard). We were right next to the lifts which we could hear, so not good for light sleepers but again it did not bother us. We really enjoyed our stay and the room was great - only there for 2 nights but could happily stay longer. Huge shopping centre with RER train station nearby, also metro, bars and cafes. Would definitely recommend.

Amended our booking with no forward warning

Posted 08-May-2017
We arrived (as scheduled) around 11.30pm to check into our 3 prebooked rooms. Only to be told they couldn't offer us that and could only offer us 2 of the rooms we'd booked and then 2 smaller options. The reason we booked this particular hotel was because we could get 3 rooms of 4 so it was incredibly disappointing to get there and be told that wasn't the case. Particularly when I'd been in regular contact with the hotel prior to arrival. Quite disappointed with the service. we were told we would be issued vouchers for breakfast to compensate us and they didn't materialise.

Dear Tara, Thank you for your feedback. We read with much concern about the unpleasant experience you encountered during your previous stay with us and we are sorry to learn that we were not able to make your stay more comfortable. We have brought each points raised to the immediate attention of the respective department head for improvements. Because of your late check-in and an error on your voucher we are sorry that we can't accomadate your 4 X 1bedroom , our staff try to found a solution but sorry that he wasn't good for you. The purpose is to ensure that his concerns are addressed promptly with the objective of making his stay with us a pleasant one. In this instance, the management of the property was unaware of the incident and is very sorry to learn that you were left with an unpleasant experience. We hope that you would reconsider staying with us again, giving us another opportunity to serve you better.

Short-term apartment style living

Posted 05-May-2017
Pros: Room was spacious.
Cons: Other front desk staff not as efficient. Waited 10 mins watching one staff person enter data into the computer never looking up at me / guests in line
Location: Near two subways / close to the train to Disneyland. Be aware of your surroundings and belongings. We encountered pickpocketers on the train: teens,
We only stayed 3 nights and this place was suitable for that time. There is construction around the location so our taxi driver dropped us off around the corner. Jeffrey at the front desk provided friendly, exceptional service in checking us in. The room was spacious including a bedroom with two twin beds, a sitting/living room, kitchenette and separate toilet room from the shower / sink room. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby area.

Posted 03-May-2017
The hotel is right next to a mall was was closed because of May 1. The room are quite small but is equipped with a small kitchenette. Great location the staff are not so friendly. Did not get any +VIP offers from them, it was not even acknowledged.

Fully equipped rooms in central location

Posted 29-Apr-2017
Pros: Great location and reasonable rate for Paris prices. Facilities were excellent and rooms were spotless.
Cons: Tea and coffee provided in rooms. Coffe machine was in lobby but it is nice to have your own in the room. Seems to be the norm though in Europe?
Location: Short walk to Les Halles shopping centre. Multiple metro stations closely. Has small convenience store right next door. George Pompidou museum closeby
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Explained all details when checking in. Paid city tax upfront compared to when checking out like most hotels. Had booked a double bed but was unfortunately given 2 X single beds which didn't impress my girlfriend and myself. No explanation was given why my reservation for a queen bed wasn't available? It seemed strange that when given a twin share apartment the two beds were stuck together not apart? This would seem a strange arrangement for two people travelling together who aren't a couple. The long headboard and placement of the bedside tables in the room clearly indicate that it was intended for a double bed so why the hotel has chosen not to purchase one for that room is quite bizarre? Unfortunately it was very noisy most nights outside to due to people congregating around the fountain in the square, drinking, yelling, skateboarding and sometimes playing loud music.

Great location but a bit noisy

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Pros: Location.Cleanliness. Bed comfortable.
Cons: Milk for coffee in communal areas. Daily housekeeping would be nice as you are paying hotel prices.
Location: Ten minute walk to the Louvre and Pont Neuf for boat trips. Walk to the Eiffel Tower in less than an hour along the Seine. 25 mins to Notre Dame.
Hotel in great location for sight seeing. Some construction work going on around but not too noisy. We had a deluxe studio which was a good size with small kitchenette and bathroom(bath too short but excellent shower. Room 517 facing the square at the side. Lovely view from window with buzzing atmosphere at night with Juliette balcony door open. Free black coffee in downstairs seating area. Corridor noisy during the night but that's the guest's not the hotel's fault. Didn't try breakfast. BBC 1 and 2 available on tv....wait for it to pick up signal(up to five mins) Safe in room.No housekeeping for short stays unless you pay 17 euros per day extra.
