Bordering Bastille and Marais area, very trendy part of Paris. \- 3 min to 2 metro stations and big super market \- clean, bright and quiet \- 2 flights up ( called 2nd floor in France, 3rd floor in USA) w/o lift \- 33 m2 +6 m2 mezzanine \- High speed fiber optic Wifi \- Well heated in winter (you can turn on the heater any time of the year). \- Newly renovated shower room \- Bed linen & towels (cotton)provided \- Strictly NON smoking This is a studio, so each sleeping areas are NOT seperated by walls. Ideal for 4 persons as there are 2 queen size beds.( Size of the apt is 33m2 + 6m2 mezzanine.) But can an accommodate up to 5 or 6 if you wish to save money while staying in the central Paris;) The apartment is in walking distance from many touristic sites such as Place de la Bastille, Le Marais, Place de Vosges, Saint Louis island, Cite island ( Notre Dame church), Seine River... Place de la Bastille is filled with hundreds of nice cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. Opera Bastille is there too. You can take Bus No. 69 just in the back of the apartment building which takes you to all the touristic attractions such as Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Pont Alexandre, Pont neuf, Cite island(Notre Dame church), Saint Louis Island, Marais, Place de Vosges, Saint Germain Blvd, Tuillerie Park, Louvre museum, Pere Lachaise, Orsey museum, Pompidou center, Rodin museum... It is like a touristic bus!!! The whole apt was renovated 3 years ago. 2 min to 2 subway stations and to supermarket. The apartment is in central Paris. (10 min walk to very center of Paris). Also, 10 minutes walk to the biggest and most famous farmer's market in Paris:) There are 2 sleeping areas as bedrooms each with a queen size bed, one separated form living area by a thick curtain and other one on the mezzanine. A high ceiling, skylight, open beams and three south-facing windows offers a stylish look and spacious feeling. Kitchen, Shower room with toilet, WIFI. Cable TV, DVD and CD player, vanity table. Good clean bed linen and towels provided. A set of bath & wash towel per person. \*\*We are flexible with check-in and check-out times but before 8:00 am and after 20:00, there will be extra charges of 5 euro/ hour. I am highly detailed oriented, so this was a great comfort to me. I was traveling with my daughter who was starting college in Paris and Natsumi went beyond her role as our host and offered connections and suggestion for my daughter's long-term stay in Paris. The apartment itself is in a charming area with lots of food options including a Vietnamese shop and boulangerie near the entrance and there are several metro stations close by. Check-in was a breeze and I am every so grateful for the help with our extremely heavy bags up to the apartment. You have all you need for a comfortable stay and a call away should you have any problems like my initial struggle in opening the skyroof panel, which lets in a cool air and just adds to the character of the place. We arrived with two adults and three children for some pretty days in paris. But there still was room enough! The appartment lies on one of the large boulevards, but due to to position in the backyard it was lovely and quiet. We had some warm days in July but as it was so quiet we simply could have the window open all the time and enjoyed the summer. The communication with the owner and the assistent in Paris and everything around was very nice,and we had no problems. We would never expected to have such a lovely conversation. At last, having free WLAN, the possibility to phone (even outside France) and a small Computer to check the latest info for your stay completes this nice appartment. Wir haben zu dritt dort geschlafen, die beiden Betten war sehr gemütlich. Die Gegend ist wirklich praktisch und schön, Bäckereien, Restaurants, zwei Supermärkte und vor allem einen schönen Spielplatz für kleine Kinder um die Ecke. Mit der M5 ist die Wohnung z.B. direkt vom Gare de l‘Est anzufahren. Auch der Kontakt funktionierte problemlos und ließ keine Fragen offe . Beim nächsen Paris-Trip ist das wohl wieder unsere erste Anlaufstelle. ##### Marcus L. The space was just right for the three of us and it had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The apartment had everything that we needed for our stay! The bathroom is small but is fine for a short stay - just a tad difficult to share between 4 people. Overall, the apartment was clean, cozy, and warm. Lots of restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores within walking distance! Bus stops very are close-by. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the metro stop near the apartment due to the strikes in Paris, but it would have been very convenient if the metro stations were open (sadly it was out of our control). We had 2 adults and 3 children ages 11 to 13 and found this apartment charming.
