The staff was very friendly: kudos to Bruno, who really made us feel at home and spoke very good Spanish. The room was lovely: two connecting rooms for a family of four with everthing we needed, very clean, well stocked. We found a pharmacy, laundromat and supermarket within walking distance, as well as the Metro stop, which was convenient. The room was clean and quiet, but bear in mind that stairs are narrow and the elevator only fits one person with luggage. The area is not nice: we parked the car for 5 minutes in front of a garaje door to unload luggage and a local started screaming: Bruno was very helpful with this. There is not much space outside the hotel for temporary parking. We witnessed an argument between a drunk customer and the pharmacy clerk, which convinced us it was not an area to walk around after dark. Laundromat was safe and local people were helpful. The fact that we had to leave the room key at the front desk every time we left made us also feel unsafe, but we understand that it might be a safety measure in case of theft.

Last weekend I stayed at your hotel but when I arrived on Saturday evening, the elevator was not working so I needed to carry my bags to the room, I was tired, I didn't sleep during my trip from Canada so I was too upset because I paid too much for a good service. So the person who was that night received my written complaint that I hope you have it and I will like a reimbursement. Also I will like to add that cleaning was not that good at the shower and Monday morning the sink was blocked Many thanks for your help and hoping this issue can be solved promptly.

The property was in a bad area that felt unsafe and even the attendant at the desk told us it's not the safest at night. The rooms were very small and outdated. The elevator was tiny and could barely fit one person and one luggage. Overall we felt very uncomfortable and would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is definitely NOT 4 star!!! There are no facilities, no bar, no gym and no lobby. There is no room service and no restaurant or swimming pool... It's very expensive for this level of hotel. There were other 4 and 3 star hotels who are better and closer to the centre.

The room was nice and the maids were great at cleaning it, unfortunately the night staff were completely rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Very disappointing that we paid money to be yelled at by the night desk man. Additionally, while the rooms were clean, there appeared to be flies that had infested outside the hotel and on occasion worked their way inside the rooms. They would fly out if the window was open, however it was a little unnerving to see seven flies flying in our room after one night.

This stay has been amazing. The staff are so so lovely, the receptionist last night went out of his way to get me some water, they are lovely and friendly and I would certainly recommend it again.

Clean, comfortable and newly furnished room including a really nice shower room. Not a huge room but everything is really nice and clean. Great location and very helpful staff.

I was sharing twin room with my brother, and I must say that the room was very tiny. There wasn't enough space to walk or put suitcases. No iron or ironboard was provided in room but was available upon request but then no room to put it anywhere. Toilet room was tiny as well. If you are tall and big you'll really struggle to sit on toilet as there isn't enough leg room between toilet and shower screen. Lift was tiny only two persons can barely squeeze in. If you are travelling with kids then you'll really struggle staying here. Staff was helpful and location was good, metro station was very close. But I wouldn't rate this hotel 4 stars and it was expensive compared to the money paid and what you get. Avoid !!

The Metro is close and there are a few cafes and stores close by but the area is dirty and run down. Our room was not big enough for two people. Nowhere to open a suitcase and a six -inch space to walk between the desk and the bed.

Lovely hotel, very clean and in a convenient location. Transport into the city very easy and trains run till 1.45 on Saturday nights The receptionist staff were wonderful especially the night shift receptionist. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room is nice with a bedroom and living room, clean with essentials thing the travelers need. Breakfast buffet is excellent a lot of different varieties food to choose from. Waiting room, dining room decorations is excellent. The location is close to restaurants and public transportation. The carpet in the room & living room need cleaning.

Nice hotel. Great air conditioning! Room was a very small, so tough with small kids, but beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Very convenient to metro system. Not close to great dining. Advise to have a big breakfast at hotel, but dinner before you return to hotel.

Don't stay here
A shockingly disappointing stay- the hotel was first difficult to find, is small, old, and has very few amenities including an actual airport shuttle that is claimed to be available on the website. I've never experienced a hotel that did not have availability 24 hours besides the front desk. The neighborhood is mainly residential, which makes it inconvenient for hours past 8pm. I would never stay here again.

Indeed the building is old (early XXth century) but the hotel was renovated recently. The rooms fit the Parisian standards, which are smaller than American standards, it's true. The neighborhood is mostly residential, which makes it quiet, but there are still shops, restaurants, and brasseries around. The nearby Line 1 of the metro quickly takes you to livelier areas in no time. As for the shuttle service, it is an external service which is subjected to availability upon request. Best Western, if not best, is one of the best
Located in the residential area of Paris, although quiet, it was walking distance to the Metro. The room was sparkling clean, the washroom was hygienically germs free, the front desk was polite & helpful, basically, nothing much can be criticized.

The location was great, it was not in the city center but close to the city center by train, by tram there are close-by areas with nice restaurants to eat. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. The hotel room was rather small for two people. Breakfast was appalling, the hot buffet was always cold and tasted stale (i wonder if the remains from the day before was served for breakfast). The WiFi was nothing to write home about very slow and need to be reconnected every other minute. Overall it is not a bad hotel if the breakfast and WiFi is further improved

Pleasing, Adequate Hotel in the Paris Area
Hotel is small & pleasant, no bar, the room was fine but the carpet had many stains. We were only given 1 bath towel which we complained about at night and no milk for tea/coffee-nothing was done about the towel as apparently the staff member forgot. We complained again this time it was delivered straight away. Staff were friendly and good, transport was close by.

For a brand hotel and the price we paid, the stay was very disappointing. The room was small, even by European standards. The elevator felt like an MRI machine...so small and claustrophobia-inducing; could only fit me and one suitcase. My husband had to wait for the elevator to come back down to get him and the rest of the luggage. The area is close to the train station - the only real bonus - which made accessing downtown each day very easy. This stay was a turn off. Would not stay again.

nice and convenient hotel in a good area
Came to visit our family, so we looked for a place in the Nation area. We found the hotel very conveniently situated, both for family purposes and for getting anywhere in Paris. Also, there is a big market of food, cloths and a lot more, along the Cours de Vincennes in the mornings of Wednesdays and Saturdays. Worth visiting.
