Friendly and helpful staff

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast very good & hotel clean. Room at front hotel so could hear a lot of the street noise right through out the night.

Not the greatest, not the worst. Shop around

It was okay. The showers leaked onto the bathroom floor, and the sink was plugged and did not drain well. The room was overheated, since the a/c was turned off. Breakfast was okay, but not really very good quality. It felt that the hotel was on a budget. The staff was nice.

Nice, new and contemporary. Clean.

Pros: Clean and bed very comfortable.
Cons: Room service menu was not very appetising. Food was frozen and reheated. Quality very poor especially for what is being paid.
Location: Close to shops and metro around the corner.
Arrived late and reception staff very helpful and obliging. Arrived about 11:45 pm and was hungry. Room service menu should be looked at. I ordered the beef bourguinon and looked very un appetising and the quality was poor. The room was very pleasant....

The rooms are so small, the elevator can barely fit one person and a piece of luggage, the hallways are extremely narrow and rooms are so close to each other. Seems like a house was converted to a hotel. Location is close to public transportation but it takes about 40 mins to get from center Paris. Neighborhood is kind of scary and dirty. Definitely not a Best Western standard, not worth what we paid for. :(

very good hotel with reservations

Everything was fine for my purposes however there few restaurants in the area and breakfast while plentiful served cold scrambled eggs so was overpriced. Consequently went to nearby food stire and bought what I needed. Also ice was not available from hotel. Hoeever good value for the money

4 night stay.

Posted 01-Oct-2015 on Hotels
Our room was very small, and a bit hard to move around in with 2 large suitcases. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air condition did not work.. fortunately windows opened so had cooler air circulating. Lift is tiny (1 person 1 bag) and slow. Area is handy to transport and cafes. While we were staying we had the sound of running water in the walls as their was a leak they were trying to find. Breakfast was OK however the woman in organizing it seemed to spend most of her time talking on her mobile phone? Items on the buffet would run out and not be replenished unless you made a point of asking. overall a bit of a disappointing stay really for our last week in Paris.

Last minute booking - 3 nights

Posted 31-Aug-2015
Pros: Rate, clean, modern
Cons: A/C control was a bit confusing - but we didn't need it as the weather wasn't that hot. Room was really small.
Location: Near-by metro gives you easy access to most attractions. Some nice local bistros, brasseries etc... Saturday food market
Pros: A few steps from Metro Portes de Vincennes Very attractive last minute rate Clean and newish room We discovered some excellent restaurants within walking distance - frequented mainly by locals. Cons: Very small room Area can be a bit scary at night -

Confused space

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Upon our arrival we've discovered the sink in the bathroom was leaking. Reported the issue right away and two ladies (including hotel manager) came to fix it. Fix it they did not. It stopped leaking until the next day. We've once again reported the issue and been told by the manager they will either fix it, or move our belongings to the room next door. We've returned to the same room at night, after long hours of sightseeing, only to discover it was dirty and sink still not fixed. We have then found out that the information was not passed on to the next shift properly, hence we had to pack and unpack again in the room next door. All this in the crammed conditions of the hotel. On top of all the inconvenience we've constantly been reminded we are second class guests, since we got ourselves a deal through Expedia. Avoid if you can!

Good hotel in a good location

Posted 16-Aug-2015 on Hotels
I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay here. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and 2 minutes walk from the metro station. Once again my only gripe is poor wifi signal in the room.Seems it is a problem with most hotels, but I would definately return.
