Avalon is very close to Gard Du Nord.

Posted 07-Apr-2018
Pros: Location and staff make this a great place.
Cons: The only thing I would change is the mattress' are thin and not as comfortable as I would like.
Location: Gard Du Nord is across the street. That makes things easy for getting around
I've stayed here before and I like this hotel. The staff is excellent!

Very good

Posted 30-Mar-2018
Excellent location for Paris Nord and Est stations, and close to Sacre Coeur. Hotel staff very good - I arrived early and they got me a room ready. Polite and helpful - in English and French. Room small (but this is Paris) but clean and good bathroom. Not the best area but it is busy so felt ok even in the dark. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby.

Very late check in. Had to ask for my room after waiting for over an hour.

Very convenient for Eurostar and other transport.

Posted 28-Mar-2018
Pros: Conveniently situated, warm clean room, comfortable bed, adequate breakfast.
Cons: Better overall room lighting, more storage spaces, coat hooks, bathroom shelf or hooks, replace 'tired' corridor carpets, include breakfast in tariff.
Location: Convenient for Eurostar and accessing other transport. A wide range of places to eat although many over-priced for what they were offering.
First time in Paris so wanted transport convenience, access to main city sights plus places to eat. Whilst the Metro would have taken us quickly from place to place we opted to stay above ground and used the open topped bus and boat package. Despite experiencing a couple of hiccups we would still recommend this. We found it to be an expensive city so any opportunities to do things 'free' should be taken.

I will return!

Posted 26-Mar-2018
The staff at the front desk made me feel at home while I was so far away from the states. The rooms have great views, are very clean, comfortable and the rates were perfect. When I return next year, I'll be back at the Avalon. PS: The location is great for most tourist attractions!

Hotel acceptable for one night stay near the station. Reception staff not impressive and not efficient.

Hotel well situated.

Posted 18-Mar-2018
Pros: Convenient position and friendly, helpful staff.
Had a long weekend in Paris - rugby match and touring the city. Hotel basic but comfortable. Breakfast included. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Well situated for Gard du Nord and travel to Stade de France. Walked and rode Metro and buses. Given useful advice / directions by hotel staff. All staff friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel close to station.

This hotel is fine for one night, nice room and comfy beds. However, the walls are so thin you can hear everything in the next door rooms!
