Very helpful and friendly staff. Property is located in a walkable neighborhood surrounded by many restaurants, bars, cafes. The elevator is super small, fits 3 people max, so do not plan on bringing a lot of luggage.

The staff were so helpful, kind, and professional. The room was small, as expected, but very well laid out and comfortable. In addition, the room was very clean and the decor was simple yet lovely.

Stayed here for about a week. Rooms are quant but perfectly laid out. Bed comfortable, internet FAST and reliable. Staff helpful. Free, decent coffee in the lobby. Great breakfast downstairs. Overall excellent place to stay. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

Everything was small except the price. The elevator is so small my wife and I could not get into it with our luggage at the same time. We had to split up. The room is so small that it does not have a closet or furniture besides a tiny desk/chair. No place to open luggage except the bed. The shower head does not rotate so you can angle it down. You have to remove and hold the shower head to shower. You have to give the desk your room key when you go out. Pay the fee extra Euros and go to a regular size hotel. BTW- the staff was friendly.

Wonderful service
I stayed over for a short trip. The rooms are somewhat small but very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast service wonderful. I’d stay here again when I’m in Paris next.

Little town in Paris
You will hear bells at around sunrise from the church across the street. Those bells have a built in snooze function. It was still very pleasant and beats any other street noise you get from any city. That part of town seemed like its own little town. The hotel was clean and quaint. We were fascinated by the tiny elevator and the lovely architecture. The staff were wonderful. Everyone I came into contact that worked there at the Oratio (in the petit dejeuner; front desk; cleaning staff) were extremely helpful and friendly.

This hotel is so wonderful! It’s clean and the lobby smells fantastic. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Be sure to pay to have breakfast in their basement cafe. It’s adorable and delicious. The rooms are small, but I hear that’s typical in Paris. We were a group of 7 and we all dream of returning to Hotel Oratio one day!

Nice hotel in an excellent location in Paris. Friendly staff. Rooms are on small side which is fairly typical for left bank, however, they're well laid out. Only complaint: handheld shower can't be angled in holder to work as a shower.

The team at Hotel Oratio were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are just gorgeous and having access to the tea, coffee and water facilities in the lobby is great. I really loved my stay at Hotel Oratio. The only way I think it could be better is for the rooms to have their own mini fridge.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Steps from the Seine and Notre-Dame. Amazing, helpful staff! Great breakfast too if you opt to include it (recommended!). Lots of little grocery stores around and also tons of dinimg options. Pantheon just up the hill from there. Highly recommended!

Our rooms at the Oratio were small but clean and elegant. The breakfast was delicious. We walked with our luggage from the train station and it was very doable. They stored our luggage for us while we went sightseeing and when we returned they had delivered it to our room. The breakfast that we paid for was great!

This hotel was so lovely! The rooms are very modern, beautiful style, extremely Parisian inside and out overall, the hotel was gorgeous very traditional, lift and staircase, sweet lobby, and a fabulous basement secret breakfast nook to die for 😍 The staff were all very nice and helpful, as well as bilingual. The hotel was very fairly priced and in a great location! Steps away from the Notre Dam and Chatelet, 10 minutes from the University! The shampoos and soaps in the washroom were all natural and smelt lovely! Also equipped with a hair dryer! There was no iron or ironing board, which was a little tricky, but we read that beforehand, but I believe they offer it at the desk. They will also order you a taxi or transportation to the airport if needed prior to your stay or during your stay. Everything about this hotel was great. The only element that I found to be unfortunate, which wasn’t related to the hotel was that there were a group of homeless people that were drunk, living immediately to the left of the hotel entrance and they did not leave during our entire stay so there were loud men shouting at all hours, depending on your room location this may not affect you whatsoever. We were on the top floor, so didn’t mind but if we were on the second floor, it probably would have been undesirable. Thank you Hotel ratio we loved our stay!!

The hotel was in great location in the Latin quarter, the staff were very friendly and could all speak English. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was very good, our stay was for seven nights and we wound definitely stay here again.

Very good value for the money. Front desk staff is very nice and amicable. The property is in a very good location and in very good condition. The bathrooms are new, the design is contemporary, it’s a very good offering for Paris. Keep up the good service. My recommendation would be to paint the rooms often - otherwise they’ll deteriorate fast.

We have just done a 3 week trip around the UK and Paris was our last stop. This was by far the best hotel we stayed at. The service was excellent, the room was small yet spacious compared to other hotels we had been in. Beds comfortable and lovely bedding. We had a small wardrobe each which was great and a little balcony with opening windows. It was great for drying a few pairs of socks etc. The only downside would be the bells from the church across the road, but they stopped at night, so it wasn’t something that would stop me staying again. Loved this hotel, staff were fantastic too.

Our new spot in Paris
On trips to Paris we've been staying at a different hotel in this neighborhood for more than 10 years. We've have decided that Hotel Oratio will be our new base when we visit Paris. We love this location and Hotel Oratio ticked many of our other boxes. The room was bigger that we expected. The service was great, the desk people and breakfast staff provided excellent service. We will be back on our next visit to Paris.
