Cozy and nice hotel, a little bit small, though. I liked 9 hotel opera and I would like to stay there when I visit paris again.

Average accommodations for a high price

Posted 08-Jan-2016
Pros: Its central location and the very nice Tunisian guy at the front desk. There was also a nice space to sit and read a book in the lobby.
Cons: This hotel seems to have too high of an opinion of itself. Trendy? If trendy means you get a tiny room with scant amenities and very little light.
Location: This hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from Gare Du Nord, between Poissoniere and Cadet Metro stops.
My family and I paid a lot of money to be in this hotel, which was chosen by our local contacts. The individuelle (single) rooms were small and quite average (i.e. too expensive for what we got). As we are family, some of us share the same last name. Our reservations got mixed up with one another, and this was an understandable mistake...However, trying to fix this mistake was a major ordeal...In trying to solve the issue, the staff acted unprofessionally. For one thing, they wished to know why my parents chose to sleep in separate rooms...They also accused one of them of impersonating me. These were attempts to deflect responsibility for the room mix-up from themselves and onto us. In keeping with this approach, no one ever apologized for the confusion or offered to make amends. On the contrary, we had to keep a close eye on our bills so that we could refute charges that were not our own. At once point, they told me that Expedia had not paid them for my reservation and that I would have to pay the full bill according to the current rate. At check-out time -- a couple of days after establishing with the management that I had pre-paid my bill in full through Expedia -- one of the lobby clerks tried to charge me for city tax on each of the days of my stay. I would have had a much better impression of this hotel if they had apologized for their mistakes and, say, upgraded my room rather than trying to blame me for their mistakes and charging me when I wasn't looking.

Grazioso albergo in zona strategica!

Posted 18-Nov-2015
Pros: Il servizio offerto della colazione a buffet!
Cons: Non saprei!

Amazing little hotel.

Posted 12-Nov-2015
Cons: A tea and coffee tray in the room would have been an added bonus.
The room was a little small, but to be expected in Paris. The staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast on offer was exceptional for a small hotel. Everything was fresh and tasty. I couldn't fault anything. The free Wi-Fi was especially welcome.

Rooms with no view

Posted 02-Nov-2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: More friendly environment
The hotel is nice and the staff is ok The room I stayed in had no view....I asked the receptionist to change it and told me that there is no availability....he never asked if I want to change the following day..... Overlooking a courtyard of 6 m * 6 m is definitely not something you want to look at from your room when you are in Paris. I sent a complaint to Expedia and received no response.....thanks Expedia.....!

Posted 29-Oct-2015 on Hotels
