"We booked a last minute trip to this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The view out to the sea when you walk into the lobby is so beautiful. We arrived late at night and there was a string quartet playing, aromatic smells as if we’d entered a spa and incredible hospitality from the reception team. We were relaxed from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. Just what we needed! "

That said, the stay was pleasant and the atmosphere enjoyable. They seem aware of what could be improved. I might consider coming back in a few years. "

"Lovely staff and Damasco is fabulous ! Hotel is old and run down.. the rooms are just fair but the bed is quite comfy. The bar roof terrace is nice but honestly I cannot understand why it’s a 4 star. "
