Chose this Villa as a late year get away (October) and was not disappointed. The accommodation was of excellent standard - very stylish and high spec. The kitchen had everything you needed - new and very clean - and the outside area was great too. Staff were very helpful and friendly and they had stocked the fridge with water, wine, juice and fresh fruit on our arrival - very welcome as we had a late night arrival. They also popped round with cakes and a bottle of rose mid-week! The rooms were serviced daily, which was a really great - fresh towels (including beach), beds made and all rooms tidied. We had access to the main hotel and the beach and pool were great, although we didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that. The location is as close to the beach as you can get and the resort has loads of restaurants in walking distance, ranging from traditional to kebab, sports bars and a Mexican (!) There are also a couple of up market places that had excellent menus. I'd recommend these villa's unreservedly - great for families, very relaxing and peaceful with a lot of facilities in walking distance.
beautiful hotel located on the cliff with a fantastic view and close to all the action within a 5 min drive max.
all the staff are welcoming, friendly, smiling and very helpful.
room service food was excellent in mater of taste and presentation, however the late hours room service choices are few (only snacks) and need improvement but also very tasty.
our room was cleaned every day and always up to our expectation.
overall i think this is the best hotel in the area and we would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Protaras.

We stayed 7 nights at the Capo Bay Hotel. We are a family of five, with three kids under the age of 9. We stayed in a two level suite with two bathrooms. The upper level on the hotel's entry level and the lower level on the pool level. The upper level was the master suite and the lower level had three beds; each level had its own bathroom. The lower level had a lanai that opened up to the pool area. The room included a daily breakfast buffet and parking. Overall, we had a great experience and would return for another visit. This hotel is family friendly. The buffet area was clean, the food was good, the champaign was free flowing, and the staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is located on Fig Tree Bay. Fig Tree Bay is a protected bay with small outer island and well suited for kids. The water was warm and clean with gradually increasing depth and a sand bottom. The only down side was the density of people on the beach. Our visit was during the high season (end of July and beginning of August), watch out for the paddle board players. Overall, we had a great visit, but would consider staying earlier in July well before the high season starts.

I had a sea-view booking which I got charged higher for on your website but when I arrived to the hotel, they refused to offer me a sea view room as the hotel was "fully booked".
I paid extra for something I didn't get
* Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly, and they couldn't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay.
*The gardens are very well maintained and we had no problems finding sunbeds, even though we were a party of 9.
* The breakfast buffet had a wide range of delicious options.
* I cant think of any negatives. Maybe this hotel is not as luxurious as some others, but the staff more than made up for any shortfall. I'm going back, can't wait.
Had an amazing time in Cyprus. Flokkas apartment is a quaint, quiet modest apartment. Two weeks was the right amount of time to fit in R&R as well as sight seeing. The staff are very friendly, without being overbearing. Some of the surrounding roads are a bit desolate, but there is enough to do and see within driving distance to stay occupied if need be. The beaches are very well maintained and safe. I particularly enjoyed Konnos bay! Will definitely be going back again soon, and back to Flokkas!
"Very good location but needs really urgent refurb"
Great location. 5 mins walk from beautiful Sunrise Beach and just a step away from restaurants, bars and shops.
Nice and very clean pool. Lots of sunbeds available.
Needs very very urgent re-decoration. Rooms are spacious but very look old and beds are quite uncomfortable. Some lights and sockets didn't work properly in our room. Hot water worked ok. No courtesy shampoo/shower gel provided. Only hand soap available. Air conditioning worked fine. No wi-fi available in rooms at all, neither free or paid. Hotel will charge a flat £20 fee for internet access just in reception area during the whole stay (Regardless of duration). No good.
We did'nt really require much help from staff, but they were just fine.
Breakfast was avg. Homemade Greek yogourth was available and truly recommendable: All flavours were fantastic.
All in all, I'd recommend this hotel only for a short stay (No longer than 3 days), otherwise your back can suffer the consequences. Also forget about wifi. It's affordable and very well located in Protaras town centre within walking distance from everything you could possibly need (Shops, banks, supermarkets, night clubs, pubs, restaurants and of course the beach)
I stayed in the Alva Hotel Apartments in Protaras for three nights while attending a family wedding nearby. I was staying with my wife, toddler and baby. Alva had set up the room with two three-quarter beds, a roll-out bed for the toddler and a travel cot for our baby. The room felt recently renovated and was spotless. There was a small kitchen area with lots of useful appliances and utensils for a short stay (but nothing to clean the kitchen stuff with).
There were some minor niggles: a great shower but no bath (hard to bath a baby in a shower), our room was cleaned once in three days (but we didn't get fresh towels), there was a safe for valuables (but it cost extra, which felt a little like racketeering), there was free wifi in the lobby (but cost extra in our room), there are no pool towels available (bring or buy your own) and my favourite, a luggage cart confined to the lobby because it can't go upstairs or fit in the lift.
The modern resort area of Paralimni-Protaras is known for golden-sand beaches, rugged cliffs, and secluded bays—as well as some of the best restaurants and nightclubs on the island. Numerous beaches have been awarded EC Blue Flag accreditation for clean waters and sound environmental practices. Nearby, the Cape Greco headland commands spectacular views out to sea.
