"The best thing about this apartment is the location - away from the crowds but right in the middle of the town, so no hill to climb. We had an elderly person in our party and chose it for that reason. The conversion is recent so facilities are modern - but not high end. The most has been made of limited space, but there is not much natural light. This is a great holiday base for 4 people in beautiful Fowey, but not a space you would want to spend a lot of time in. Luckily, the weather was good!"

"I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. "Great hotel, We have stayed here on/off 50 years , Amazing staff (working their for years eg Covid). Never had a single experience other than best service/ friendly staff/ professional etc"

"The room was clean with everything we needed. The beds were two twin mattress put together which kept separating leaving a gap to fall through which was very annoying and uncomfortable. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Pool and spa was nice, sauna was out of order though but everything very clean. Overall it was really nice for the price and I would go back, just would make sure it’s a full double bed!"

"A very pleasant, well managed hotel in an excellent location by the Penryn River with great rooms for breakfast and coffee and a pub. Only issue was that the room was very hot despite having an open window. Consequently sleeping was difficult. I was too slow in requesting a fan and irritated to be told there was one in the wardrobe or cupboard which there was not. I doubt whether a fan would be adequate. The hotel should seriously consider installing air conditioners in each room as summer temperatures are only going to get hotter."

"Overall lovely hotel with beautiful decor and facilities. Everywhere was very clean. The overflow car park still undergoing building works and £27 a day for parking is very overpriced. No toilet roll in our room. Very slow service at breakfast and ran out of milk at and could only offer oat milk. Seemed to be more waiting staff just stood around rather than serving"
