Perfect hotel for no-frills!
This hotel was excellent for people like us who want a nice, clean, comfortable bed to sleep in, with no frills. If you want a great deal, and have no need for any extra splurges, this is the place for you. Simple, but comfortable room, beds, and working shower was perfect for us. The daily breakfast was somewhat limited in variety (possibly because of Covid-19 restrictions), but it was certainly adequate. The decor and general feel of the hotel is pretty outdated, but this is irrelevant for people who want a great deal. The pool is clean and well-kept, as well as the chairs around it. The hotel is centrally, located and excellent location for those like us who are self-mobile and spend most of their time out on activities.

It was ok would not stay at the hotel again food not very good came out cold left to dry up at to ask for plates cup bread put toaster on tea znd coff warm het water up in saucepan tin in the heater light was on but not for heating water up get a white scim over top landing not clean once in 4 week had to ask to have the bed change after 11 day when booking the room it said fridge kettle microwave nothing ,bed not moved thick dusty under bed bar staffs were good

Paphiessa Hotel - Definitely will come back!
I had fantastic & quiet vacation at Paphiessa Hotel! The hotel is very comfortable and friendly. The pool is fun, the Bar is very active and the lobby have many sitting area. Location is great and the hotel is walkable to all tourist places. Best value for money and Will definitely come back! Adi Farber

Bad side - even though cleaning staff around every morning its basic cleaning, beds are awful, balcony chairs broken, don't do all inclusive as food terrible, its also besides a very busy road Good side - staff very nice and go out of their way for you, Jamie is brilliant, love his karaoke, quiz nights, kids pool is safe, food from bar is okay better than what you'd get all inclusive, short walk down to harbor area but its not on a bus route, definitely family orientated

It is a little outdated but can't complain for the price we paid , it was clean, housekeeping ladies came round every day, the decor may not be some peoples taste but our room 204 was ok, the only thing I'd change would be the taps and plugs in the bathroom, seen better days. Aircon great , quiet room .

Nice hotel and staff were very friendly. Arrived late and staff were very helpful. Our room was the other side of the pool. Unfortunately the WiFi was down or didn’t reach our room. But was perfect for the family.

This place shouldnt have 3* stars, i would rate it 1*. Quite dirty, understaffed, some stuff think they are directors and even push customers around. Its a dead place with silly regulations.

The first studio room we had didn't have any hot water so after maintenance tried to fix it we were transferred to an one bedroom apartment. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better as there was dust under the bed. They said the in-door pool was open but it looked dirty and was cold.The hotel is in a good location as it is within walking distance to the harbour, beach and shopping centre, The hotel was good value for money for the price I paid but on my next visit to Paphos I wouldn't stay at hits hotel and probably pay more for better quality accommodation.

I won't come back to this hotel
Paphiessa Hotel 31.05.2017-05.06.2017. The overall impression is so unpleasant. I can't say the vacation was spoiled due to this hotel. We had a great time in Cyprus. But next time I’ll choose the hotel more carefully. So I’d like to share some points concerning to this hotel. May be this note will help somebody to make right decision. 1. Unpleasant odor in the room 2. Two power sockets for TV (3! channel to choose) and air conditioner, but wire’s length is not enough long so you have to choose which device you want to plug in 3. All the furniture staff are so outdated, heavy and dark, beds and pillows are inconvenient 4. Some pieces of furniture are painted brown casually 5. Cleaning room service is nothing to have with its meaning 6. Shampoo and shower gel weren’t added although we ran out of it 7. Take into account that you don’t have ridge, adapter for your mobile, safe and kettle for extra fee 8. At dinner any of drinks are included even water (price for 50mc 1.5 euro) I’d like to add that this hotel doesn’t match 3 stars at all. The quality of the service at low and very low level.

One star hotel masquerading as a three star one.
Reception staff, for the most part, appeared unfriendly and unhelpful. We had two studio apartments. Despite being assured when booking that air conditioning would be included, we were told upon arrival that we would have to pay for each AC unit - total cost over a hundred euros for 7 nights. Studio apartments, especially bathrooms in need of total refurbishment. In one studio shower unit shower came off the wall, whilst in the other the shower head would flick up when pressure on and wet everywhere. Cold water tap in sink not working. Ants all over the bathroom. Fridges are well past their sell by date. Sheets and towels changed only once every three days. Sheets had holes in them and towels stained. Extra charges if guests wanted a kettle or iron. Breakfasts almost indescribable: cold meats, cheese, bread, frankfurter sausages, hard boiled eggs, cheapest instant coffee, play-dough tasting croissants, and so forth. Bar OK. Bar and entertainment manager pleasant and helpful. In the end on a number of days we gave up and had breakfast in town. Pool was OK, but also needs updating. In sum the hotel should be down graded to one star or undergo a major programme of refurbishment if it wants to retain its three star rating. We have, in the past, stayed in three star hotels in Paphos. This one doesn't even come close to matching those standards. Expedia should seriously consider dropping the Paphiessa as a three star establshment because that rating is misleading

The hotel was very comfortable but dated but for the price you cannot complain. The hotel and rooms are very clean and there is alot of amenities there. We would stay here again in the future. The gym is very dated and some of the exercise machines look like they have seen better days. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, so much so I chose to remain here when I needed to extend my trip. Hotel is a family run business by a lovely family, truly nice people. The staff members I encountered where also very nice and friendly. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything, including the harbour, supermarkets, Kings shopping mall, restaurants and old town centre. Room was very clean and comfortable. I genuinely recommend this hotel and will do so to family, friends and associates.

Hotel close to the bar area and beach
Hotel needs renevoation, but for the price you pay it's OK. Appartments are quite big and spacious. The pool area is very nice. The stuff was disappointing - they were not from Paphos and couldn't help with getting around the city. In general nice and close to tourist area

The worst hotek I have ever been to.
This 'hotel' was so bad we checked out after 1 night. Whwn leaving we were told we were the 20th guests to do so that week. My advice is DO NOT BOOK.

Old but clean is what it was, there were no hot water in the mornings but I didn't complain as it was such a hot week I wasn't bothered but I did report about the toilet seat that was falling off, the maintenance man came to fix it only for it to work loose again the day after.

Excellent value for money - out of season
I wanted somewhere that I could sleep and spend time comfortably between appointments. Hotel Pafiessa met these needs more than adequately. It also more than met the needs of those looking for extended time away from the british winter on limited incomes. It is showing signs of its age but is well maintained and the owner, his family and staff are friendly and approachable.
