"Close and convenient for Cedar Point. Pool wasn’t open because it’s October. We had an issue with ants in our room, but the staff responded quickly and were super helpful. Breakfast was simple but very good and the lady was super kind and helpful! Would definitely stay again!"

"I will stay at this family run establishment for any future trips to the area going forward. They were so kind and helpful and very patient with my son as he ran around the office during my check-in and check-out. The building is obviously aged, but they definitely do the best they can with what appears to be their small staff of family. I didn't run into any trouble with other guests and was provided with extra towels and washcloths upon request. The linens were clean, and there were no rodents or bugs. For their price, I expected less, but was so pleasantly surprised. They definitely deserve your business if you are in the area and need a place to stay!"

"This is a budget hotel with no frills, and for sure it is a little run down. However, it is the only place I have ever stayed where a hotel employee has asked with genuine curiosity if there was anything amiss with the room (there was--the toilet was wobbly though perfectly functional), and I genuinely believe he intended to address the issue. Also, when I arrived late at night, very tired from the road, the gentleman at the front desk was so welcoming and kind and helpful it really helped cheer me up. Luxurious? No. But it was a restful and pleasant stay."

"Exactly like the listing shows. The house was spacious for our party of 9 and very clean. Tons of kitchen utensils and gadgets to dine in for a large crowd. The view of the lake was UNBELIEVABLE from the spacious back outdoor living space. We had some windy days and the waves were intense, which made it feel like we were at the ocean! The playground was also an added bonus for our 19 month old. There were also some kids toys in the house which entertained him!Definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

"Susan is an amazing host. She always makes us feel special. The house is clean, amazing, spacious and well stocked. The kids love all the fun toys, game room as well as the beautiful pool. Great family vacation as well as a really nice get away with my husband. We love Vermilion and this is our favorite place to stay. We have come back many year, and absolutely love it. Thank you for giving us a relaxing vacation."
