"We arrived and they gave us free cold water to welcome us. Everything was clean, each room has a desk and is comfortable. We stayed the first nights in a room with AC and fan and the last night in a room with just fan. Both were clean and nice and because of the weather (it rained during a couple of nights) we didn’t even have to use the AC. From Tropicana Inn it is possible to reach Long Beach in 5 mins and coral bay in 5 mins, which is perfect to visit around. We liked it!"
"I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. "

"Nice place to stay on Perhentians, everything you need is available at the Barat, or a small walk to the next beach. The food options were good, really liked the BBQ.
Family sea front chalet was nice, airco and fan helped to cool down. View was a bit obstructed by the restaurant terrace. "
"Dirty hotel, the matress was very old and the room was very dirty. Seems that wasn't cleaned before the arrival. It's sad because it has the best spot on the beach. If the hotel changes and take care of the costumers it will be top but sadly, not now"

"We had an enjoyable stay at the Arwana. Staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. The pool and restaurant area are well presented with lots of greenery and shaded areas. The local food was really tasty. "
"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent.
Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...
