If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"Property is situated in a great area and not too far a drive to the airfield. There is many things to do in the area with metz a close drive. The property was very clean with a great layout which suited our gtoup of adults a young kids. The pool was a blessing with having kids with us. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks for letting us stay there."

The actual address is 219BIS, not 221 as listed on VRBO so that you can more easily find it. There is NO AC in case you were wondering but the house did cool down after dark. The roof windows were full of bees with one having a large hive, so keep those closed. Very clean and stocked well! Worked well for our large family of 10."

Room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The only neutral-negative comment would be the breakfast. It cost 15Euros which is fine. In fact it could easily be baked into the cost of the room and I wouldn't bat an eye since the stay itself it great value. The breakfast doesn't live up the magnificence of the rest of the hotel. "
