Spend your days sunbathing on 600 feet of private sugar-sand beach (with free seasonal beach service), swimming in Tidewater Beach Resort's indoor and outdoor pools, and unwinding with the help of multiple hot tubs, an arcade, and a 4,300-square-foot fitness center with a Roman spa. Cook up delicious meals in a kitchen with all new appliances. A smart TV and privacy door in the bunk area add convenience and comfort. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is there was sand on the sheets. When I laid down I immediately felt all the sand. The second reason is there was hair on our towels. The condo was very cute and had a beautiful ocean front view from the 14th floor. Came equipped with all we needed including beach chairs and pots/pans for cooking. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room. Got instant response when reaching out to Vacasa staff. Elevator wait was a little long during times of check in/out but understandable with 30 stories. The complex was very nice and loved that security had a big presence. We ate at Waves each night, the food was great and not too expensive. The only thing I would say is that you must make sure the door closes all the way, when we arrived it was open and we had a couple of times where we thought it closed, but it didn't. A good push or pull will take care of it. Security had an Elevator Attendant in the elevators at peak times, this helped tremendously. We will definitely stay here again! ##### Shasta M. Also, the elevator situation was unbelievable in the heat. We waited 30 min for an elevator. Taking the stairs up and down 14 flights was so difficult. Everything was clean, kitchen was stocked for the meals we cooked, and there was a lot of space for both of the adults AND the 5 kids. The view was gorgeous, and we really enjoyed spending sunsets on the balcony when not on the beach. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars (if I could give 4.5 stars I would have) is because the unit is right across from the elevators, which was a little noiser than I thought it would be since two of the bedrooms faced that way. However, if not coming for spring break (or similar busy/crazy time of year), we probably wouldn't have even noticed. We would definitely return to this condo! ##### Brooke D. The elevator is super slow like 20 minute wait if it’s working at all! Once we had to hike 14 flights of stairs because it was down completely. We checked in at 4:00 and went to our room. Was not able to get into our room until 4:36 because cleaning ladies were in there working. Had to stand outside the room in 100 degree heat (with an infant)while they finished. When we were able to get in, the floor was soaking wet where they had just mopped which could have caused injury to us as we’re unloading because of how slippery it was. There was an empty chip bag on one of the beds. The rug had not been vacuumed as there was visible dirt and hair on it. We had to vacuum ourselves. The coffee table had visible dirt, crumbs, and dust on it as well. The infants feet were black from walking around on the floor. We reached out to vacasa and tidewater to request a refund of the registration fee for compensation. We were denied because tidewater said we did not give them the chance to fix the problem nor sent them pictures (doesn’t change the fact we had to stand outside our unit for 36 minutes waiting to get in in 100 degree heat). Vacasa let me know this after I had to reach out to them asking for an update after submitting my statement twice. Terrible experience with both vacasa and tidewater. The room was very clean. Pools were nice. Staff were friendly. We already expected slow elevators and they were. Only issues were the ice maker in the fridge didn’t work so we had to buy ice. The facility sells it for $5.50 per 7 lb. Bag. We got 2 bags for 5$ Across the road but it’s nearly melted by the time we wait for the elevator and finally get it back to the room. Blow dryer in the big bedroom is broken. Pillows are flat and hard so recommend bringing your own pillows. At night you can hear when others use water or flush.
