Closest to the resort is Saint Andrews State Park sporting amazing trails to walk along and a beautiful view of the Gulf from the jetty. Within fifteen miles, there are several popular attractions including Bay Point Golf Club at Sheraton Bay Point Resort, Southern Dawn Charters, Panama City Diving and Old Cypress Canoe Rentals. Pier Park always has something going on as well, so shop around at familiar stores or simply explore the area to find your own favorite spots. Things to Know Reservations from March through October include beach service. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 5. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Sad to hear there is no more live music, but the food was still superb.Was a bit nervous to see the room is right off the elevator, but we never heard a sound from inside, so it ended up being a good thing. The location of the room is nice but overall the room is outdated. The mattress was so uncomfortable we had to go buy a mattress topper just to be able to get some sleep. Also the bed frame sticks out from around the bed so you have to be careful to not hit your foot or leg. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. The shower in the primary bedroom has nowhere to out any soaps or anything and the shower curtain is too short so water leaks out into the floor. I have stayed in probably 10 units here and have to say 505 was disappointing for the $$$ I paid for this unit. First of all the thermostat kept malfunctioning and we would wake up during the night to 82,85&88 degrees. Could not adjust it and didn’t want to be that pain and call maintenance at those hours. The next morning when I called maintenance was there within 45 minutes and reset it saying it needed a code. Next 2 nights it did the same thing. The shower curtain is not long enough in the master so it’s hard to keep water from going in floor. Shower however was nice and large. The fan in bedroom can only be adjusted if you turn fan off and climb to reach inside to pull the broken chain ( maintenance showed us how) fan in main room is on a remote, smart idea! The bed frame was too large for the mattress so there were side rails extended that you had to get over or step on them not the mention the footboard stuck out and we were continually hitting our feet or shin on them. The mattress was less than desirable. Not only was it too small for the frame so you have to step over side rail and so uncomfortable springs could actually be felt. Needless to say both of us had back pain after sleeping on it and not a good sleep! Because the mattress didn’t go all the way to the headboard the pillow would get wedged in the hole. We only used the microwave and fridge and they were good but the dishes and utensils were both miss matched and hodgepodge together. Don’t think there were 8 plates but I didn’t count as we used paper plates. Unit was nicely cleaned when we arrived. I don’t remember staying in a condo that had stains on the sofa, yuck! Sorry this is so negative but this condo needs attention, to be freshened up for comfort and sanitary respect. A shopping trip is a must! Like I said earlier I paid thinking I had a much nicer room and found myself less than satisfied. Owners need to lower the rent or make changes. I will not stay in 505 again! Not saying I expected the Ritz but not furnished by leftovers like 505 Seychelles. Compensation should be made to me for the price I paid! If I didn’t know there are much nicer units I’d think Seychelles is low rate condominiums. ##### Linda A. The living room, bedroom, and balcony furniture all need to be replaced due to it was very outdated! The dishwasher also needs replaced as it was very noisy. The cleaning crew also needs to do a better job of cleaning up sand as there was sand in both bathrooms and entryway. I did like the view, but I wasn’t aware this part of the beach is public and not private and there was a homeless man sleeping on the beach right in front of the condo. ##### Melissa B. Easy & free parking. Fast elevators, & liked our unit #505 came with free beach lounge chairs & umbrella. It's also right next to Schooners Beach bar & Restaurant. The room was good, a little outdated furniture in the master bedroom. Bed was a little firm but ok. Master shower didn't have a place to put the soap or shampoo. Floor was vacuumed but not mopped, my feet turned brown, but overall we were happy & would stay again. ##### Mark F. ---
