From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and inviting the entire resort was. The views of the Gulf are absolutely breathtaking—you can’t beat waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying a cup of coffee on a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The resort offers everything a family could need for a relaxing and fun vacation. The water park area was a huge hit with our kids, and the lazy river and heated pools gave us all plenty of ways to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. There’s even a splash pad which kept the little ones entertained for hours. The location is perfect—close to restaurants, shopping, and family attractions, but still quiet enough to feel like a true retreat. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated how easy check-in and communication were throughout our stay. This was our third visit to Splash Resort, and it just keeps getting better every time. We’ve made so many special memories here, and we look forward to returning again. This made it hard to stay in the bedroom. - very minimal furniture - shower door wouldn’t close -balcony door was hard to open and close -not enough cookware in the kitchen -silverware was old and not cleaned well Even with all these issues we stayed and enjoyed the beach as we didn’t consider them a deal breaker. If the cleaning crew left that, they should have just thrown it away. That was not a good first impression. The minute we walked into the condo my boys wanted to take off their shoes and relax since we had been in the car for 4 hours. A couple of minutes go by and I look at the bottom of their feet and they are dirty/ black. So that tells me the floors were not mopped properly. I went to turn on the lights in the living room and see some kind of coffee looking splatter was all over the wall and light switch, which I cleaned up. The furniture needs to be updated, it just looks used and old. The master shower/tub, is stuck on shower mode. I have 2 small children and prefer to bathe them and with only 2 showers we had to make due. Once I saw my kids feet dirty it just made me feel like the condo was not cleaned. We enjoyed the facility, but I would also say that it needs a deep cleaning. The pool tiles need a scrub and the patio areas could use a sweep of a broom once in a while. The pool filter by the red slides in the kiddy splash pad area was disgusting, there was gum, big groups of hair, Band-Aids, and funk on the trap. I had to keep watch to make sure my little one did not go over there. I felt like there should be staff maintaining the pool areas for cleanliness since there are so many quest, foot traffic, and people. I don't want to sound like we did not have a blast with our children because we did. Kids don't notice those things and that's all that matters. The beach was lovely and made many memories. I just want this place to be the best it can be because I would love to come back I just wish it was cleaner. ##### Joshua D. They had two heated pools and it wasn’t too cooled for us to get in. The condo was great. Had a surplus of room. Only give this 4 stars for the actual Vacasa since we wanted to book a bigger room and pay the difference but they said I would of had to cancel and lose out on the full refund and book another room. This was out first family beach trip, kids ages 3 & 4, and it was awesome! The resort is easily accessible, beach access is very close, pools were great and the grill food was delicious! Loved every second of our stay here. I have 2 suggestions. The sliding glass door sticks really bad. Also, I would have liked to have known about the controlled thermostat. It wouldn't have changed my decision but I would have brought a fan. Neither of these things however are even worth a tiny ding on the stars. Definitely a 5-star spot all the way. ##### Rebecca M. Everything they had made the stay wonderful with a 6 and 4 year old. We normally travel with 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 6\. This would not work for a larger group trying to get all the gear up and down the elevator and to the beach. A few plumbing issues (shower drainage) that we had to call about twice.
