Nice hotel. Room sufficient size but could ue some updating og room. Shower - you get wet setting the temperature of shower. Excellent breakfast. Staff great.

Hot water takes forever to come one. Also, they nickel and dime you. If you want to have a friend over or anyone not on the room reservation, they will charge you $27 each time even with your friend's ID! Additionally, they put a coffee machine in your room but make you buy your own coffee pods downstairs if you want them.

Good central location and very helpful staff with a good buffet breakfast. But as with many central Panama city buildings no window outlook or outside seating area. This is a densely built up area with many high-rise buildings but close to transport and within walking distance of the Cinta Costera walk along the sea front.

Property was very nice. Breakfast was very good. Be aware that they have no pool. However our room was terrible. Long. narrow, and dark between the stairway and the side of the building. Window looked at the building next door about 10 feet away. When I called to complain was told there were no other rooms available. I found this hard to believe as we had checked in early and would have waited for a better room.

The hotel has all the american standards. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, fast elevators ( 3 in total).
Good menu for breakfast , lunch and dinner!

The breakfast service in the restaurant was a bit slow to offer coffee. Oftentimes I had to flag down a waiter to ask for coffee. They had no problem getting right on clearing tables, but were reluctant to offer coffee to people that had just arrived.

There was no hair blower in the bathroom which was not convenient. Also there was no complimentary items of toiletries and i went downstairs and asked for something. The buffet breakfast was great.

Good value for a Western-style hotel. Wasn't sure what I was going to get based on varied reviews. Turns out I got a typical room, A/C was great, hot water was great, everything was very "normal" unlike the experiences of some others it seems. I was there eight days. I will definitely go back.
I was traveling for work and needed a reliable internet connection. The reviews for this hotel on this point were very mixed. I decided to wing it and, when booking, requested that I be placed in a room that had a reliable connection. I was very surprised and disappointed to hear back: "What you requested can't be arranged ahead of time but Hilton Garden Inn Panama City Downtown said they'll do their best to accommodate you on arrival." Really? You can't guarantee that I will have an internet connection in my room when you bill yourself as a business-traveler hotel? I almost canceled to instead book at a higher-end venue that could make such a guarantee. I ended up going. Their internet connection was stable and averaged 4.3 Mbps. It went out briefly three times during my eight day stay, so that was fine. But why couldn't they just guarantee that their connection was functional instead of that lame response? That caused me stress. Bad customer service on their part if they wish to reach out to business travelers like me.
