We stayed here for 3 nights for the Festival de San Fermin and it was overall a great stay. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant was also convenient and good to have available. When we asked for a taxi, it would arrive in less than 10 minutes !

We came to Pamplona for the Festival of San Fermin and to run with the bulls. Note Villava was about 2 miles away from the city center and very reasonably priced during this time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and provided us with more than enough information to get safely around the city and enjoy the festival. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, great AC, and perfect water pressure/temperature. There are several nearby bars, but the hotel restaurant was also really good. It was everything we could have asked for. I would highly recommend it.

Good Stay
overall stay was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not much in the area of hotel, but hotel does have a nice restaurant with delicious pizza. I would stay here again.

a good stopover point
stayed on the way to Almeria, and again on our return journey, the rooms are really good quality, as are the fittings. The water was good pressure and very hot shower, didn't use the restraint but the bar was good value, would be an ideal stopover from the ferry ports of france, especially with a dog. ,

Great hotel, quiet location.
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large, twin beds pushed together (common), bed was comfortable. Quiet location on the edge of town. Stayed here for San Fermín. If you have a car it’s a 15 min drive to parking then a 15 min walk to festival. Lots of parking at hotel. Bus stop 5 min away from hotel. Will stay here again next time in Pamplona.

Nice Hotel in the outskirts of Pamplona!
The hotel was very nice, it had the nicest room in our stay thus far. However, beware that the price is quite higher than other hotels in the area.

San Fermin Festival
Stayed here with a friend for San Fermin. If you want to be out of Pamplona this is about 10 minutes away. We took a cab a few times, although had to ask the hotel staff to call one to go into Pamplona, but there's also a bus stop that drops you off downtown for 1.60 Euro that is a couple blocks away that we took a couple times. So, depending on how much quiet you want, this place did the trick for us!

we arrived quite late and we're pleased with our room. It was very comfortable and nice and quiet. We went to the bar for a snack and ordered half a pizza. It was enormous. We didn't have breakfast but overall we're happy with our stay.

Outside of town but a quick bus ride into Pamplona
The hotel is located outside town and is about a 15 minute bus ride into Pamplona. The neighborhood is a bit industrial, located across from a gas station. The check-in was efficient and the person who helped us gave good directions and suggestions for Running with the Bulls events. The room was clean and aside from the handheld showerhead (which I dislike), it had the comforts of an American-type hotel.

Quiet and basic, but a good deal.
The Villava is a perfect place to stay while in pamplona for the running of the bulls if you want a quiet, tranquil place to sleep --away from the crowds and craziness. There was a bus a couple of blocks away that ran often and all night, which made it easy to get back and forth to the city center in 15 minutes or so. The lady who worked the night shift at the hotel was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. The hotel itself is a bit run down and outdated, but it was great for our needs.

Don't use the WiFi!!
Nice Hotel, quite a way out of the centre. We knew this before booking but needed secure parking. Overall good, but couldn't use the WiFi because as soon as you connected to the Internet and tried to go to any site your were redirected to Pornagraphic sites! This happened on both Apple and Kindle products. Other than that rooms good, people good and food acceptable.

Good stopover
I have returned twice to Hotel Villava - it is a great stopover for a night, which is what we used it for on our journey to and from Spain. It is out of the centre of Pamplona and so has limited usefulness for tourists but for business or one night stopovers it's exactly what you need - clean, well priced, well managed, free parking, free internet and for us another bonus was that it's dog-friendly without a pet surcharge. I would definitely go back again if I needed somewhere to stop on the way to somewhere else.

Just recently stayed at this hotel. Great place to stay for the running of the bulls if you don't want to be hounded by the party. Service was excellent, everyone was extremely helpful. I would not recommend the food (expensive and not cooked to order - my chicken was pink in a couple of spots), however there is a quaint place one block away that has great value and taste. Would recommend this hotel became of the service.

Nice stay
Lovely friendly staff. Room comfy although a bit dated. Had good night sleep so bed was comfortable. Food okay, but a bit limited. Location was okay,,but needed a car or bus ride to get to town centre. Plenty of good parking. Big supermarkets nearby if you are in your own car and need to shop for wine, cheeses etc to take home.

Great for the bull run
Great to be away from the craziness to get some sleep and a convenient 20 min bus ride right into the heart of it all allowed us to save money and enjoy this historical event. The hotel restaurant is great value and the staff are really friendly.

It's about 20 minutes by bus from the hotel to where you want to be in Pamplona. The hotel quality was higher than expected in an outlying area and the price very reasonable for a last minute visit during San Fermin.

Hotel had secure parking which was good. Receptionists spoke excellent English and were very nice. Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side for what was served. Bar had good coffee for reasonable price. Went to the Running of the Bulls and was a victim of a pick pocket. The police in the area was very nice, but simply smiled and said it was part of the event - I later saw a long table at the police desk that had an estimated 400 billfolds and purses from just that week.. so be carefull in Spain! Do not go down the crowded streets, take only cash and one form of ID with you, or wear a storage belt under a shirt that is tucked in.
