Outstanding Experience
Hotel Cala del Pi was an outstanding experience! The location and views were breathtaking, and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The dining was delicious, and the spa was a fantastic way to unwind. We had a great time and can't wait to return for a longer stay! Highly recommended!

This is NOT under any circumstances a 5 star property. If you have every stayed at the Four Seasons or Auberge Collection, this resort is nothing like it. Super old, the whole hotel needs a complete overhaul, rooms are small and the decor is dated and the furniture is old. The bathroom was the worst. Couldn’t even move in the shower, it was so tiny. Not luxury at all. It should be a 3.5 star hotel. Hotel staff was perfunctory and did not go out of their way to do anything special for us. Made a huge mistake by choosing this place.

A beautiful hotel. The only downside is that it is situated at the top of a hill on the edge of town - which means a twenty minute walk up the hill after a visit to a restaurant etc in Platja d'Oro!

This was really a great experience, and the attention to detail in this hotel is better than in most that I have stayed at. For example they had a shaving kit in the bathroom, which is sometimes a very needed accessory. The restaurant, served amazing food, and the service was really great.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The views of the ocean from our balcony were breathtaking. The spa was very relaxing and well kept. Excellent Mediterranean style breakfast buffet and great food at the restaurant as well. Perfect place to relax on the beach.

Highly recommended.
The room and spa were first class. The only part that wasn’t first class was the breakfast. The service was not very good.

Excellent hotel, elegant, very clean with wonderful service from the reception staff to cleaning staff. the breakfast was very good. On my birthday they sent a card and Wine which was a real surprise. It I would rate among the top 10% of luxury hotels. The have indoor and outdoor pools, and modest Gym room and beautiful beachs close by.

Great Hotel
Hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk to town, on the waterfront, easy access to beach in front....and the most wonderful coastal walking track. Room was spacious with a big balcony and water views. Pool area was good with plenty of sun beds for everyone...so no pre breakfast saving here. Restaurant is a beautiful setting, and food very good.

Great hotel in a fantastic location
This is a really good hotel that meets all of your expectations, staff are friendly and accommodating, facilities are very well maintained and very good. It is rare to stay in a room where the airflow is perfect and not sty-filling. Facilities at the pool are good if a little restricted for the number of guests. Finally you could not find a better location on this coast. Finally great breakfasts.

Beautiful location but disappointing experience
Our room was located on the 1st floor with ocean view. The hotel is located at a beautiful cove but the small beach is certainly not "private". The beach was so crowded on Saturday we couldn't find any place to sit by noon. For the price (600+ Euro/night) we were expecting a more secluded beach and better pool side service. The facility and room were nicely decorated... but the worst part... I was bitten by bed bugs one night. I didn't know what the red marks were until they didn't go away for a few days and I researched it on line. Wish I had a chance to tell the hotel staff. Really disappointing...

A beautiful spa on the Mediterranean
A lovely hotel on the Costa Brava. On the north side of Platja d'Aro--away from the busy downtown. Our room had an ocean view and a nice balcony. The breakfasts were excellent, the spa was quite nice too. The hotel has its own beach. We were there in Spring so it wasn't too crowded--just the way we like it. Lots of short day trips to very cool places. Hotel restaurant pretty goodb-a little stuffy but convenient.

Relaxing and comfortable
After 8 days of walking in the Pyrenees, this was just the relaxation we needed. Met in the hotel car park by the concierge (nice touch) it started very well. It's not got many rooms and being off season meant it never felt super busy, being able to get a lounger by the pool despite wandering down at lunchtime was perfect. Our room was supposed to have a sea view, and it did just, but the large balcony with sun loungers more than made up for that. The pool area was lovely with a range of seating arrangements available. The beach was nice too, but is not private as is indicated by photos of the hotel. I have to say it but breakfast was amazing - so much of everything to choose from, oh and bubbles! Awesome! The spa is lovely, not many loungers, but a good space and I had an excellent massage so can highly recommend that.

Nice hotel with a strange design
The hotel is located in a picturesque spot. The stuff has been very helpful and tried to get us the room we wanted. It is however decorated in some kind of "nouveau rich " design. It applies to the room as well as common grounds. It is pretty clear that it was an amateur work and unfortunately takes away from overall enjoyment. The hotel has a well equipped spa.

The new Spa is the best, and the food unbelievable
We were there for only one night stay. We came in tired, and directly went to the Spa. The Spa is really great, beautiful indoor pool with great sauna and turkish bath. We both had a massage and were completely relaxed 2 hours after chek-in. Then we went to the restaurant, and tried the local dishes. We had the local champagne and all together it was superb and really fairly priced.

we loved everything, except room location. we stayed in room 006, which was just above the kitchen and in the morning we could hear all the kitchen noise. Other than that the stay was pleasant, we were suprised at quality and the fact that you have SPA.

A great stay but.......
The hotel is excellent with regards to the hotel service and the staff are very attentive without being over bearing. The hotel itself is very nice, incredibly clean and tidy but with one exception and that is the noise in the rooms. There appears to be very little done to prevent acoustic transfer. You can hear people walking about, furniture being moved and even when someone goes to the toilet. This is a shame as it can become rather tiring listening to other people especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Good hotel...struggled to find anything negative.
About 90 mins drive from Barcelona. Great view of the ocean. Very friendly staff. Clean. Quiet but only about a 5-10min walk to the high street. The spa was a bonus. Overall, loved it.

Fantastic stay, Hydro Spa is amazing as were all the staff! Location for us was perfect as we hired a car to go to some beautiful fishing villages and restaurants (ask the reception staff they will recommend some).

Heavenly Experience
The hotel provides a five star experience in a beautiful location on a cliffside site overlooking a small rock lined cove beach on the Mediterranean just north of the Platja D'Aro town shopping strip. Large pool with lounges and lounge beds on three levels overlooking the sea. This is a first class hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. The indoor pool/spa was a special treat with a full size pool with a variety of water massage devices and a large hot tub and various multi outlet showers. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, as good as we have encountered in many years of traveling. We found the experience at Cala Del Pi to be a perfect relaxing break after a hectic visit to Barcelona.

A very clean and tidy 5* hotel. Spa package included which is agreat advantage. Friendly staff and room service. A kettle in the room would have been good. The bar was not very enticing as it is in the basement and generally empty. Breakfast was very good and great selection. We ate at the restuarant for dinner and the food was very good, a bit pricy but expected in a 5* hotel. Nice pool and lounge area with beautiful private beach.

Amazing hotel with incredible beach access and spa
We stayed one night at the Salles Hotel & Spa Cala Del Pi as part of our one-year 2-week anniversary trip in Spain. This hotel was our favorite hotel of the trip! The hotel is very luxe and the beach access to a spectacular cove where we could swin and bask in the sun was beyond incredible. We also really loved the spa which offered all sorts of water massage therapies at no cost. Our only regret is not being able to stay there longer. A great hotel for a honeymoon trip or any special getaway!
