A few drawbacks…There were a lot of hidden management fees added to nightly rates. For instance, we never used the spa, but were required to pay $60 to heat it. Fees for management company, VRBO, owner, etc. Also, We did not anticipate 100 degree weather in April but needed to agree to not turn the thermostat below 76 degrees which was quite warm. However, the notebook with instructions of how things work is extremely out of date. The TV did not work as described, the indoor fireplace did not work and neither did the outdoor fire pit. We were there during NFL playoffs and it took quite a bit time trying to figure out the TV and much back and forth with Vacasa….though we finally got it working in the nick of time! All appliances are very nice and well thought out. Lighting throughout house has dimmers and is very nicely done. Biggest hot tub on the planet! Loved spending time in the tub, but wish it would have been warm enough to use on the first night. Water fountains help to minimize the traffic noise from Palm Canyon Dr.. But we could still hear the airplanes landing at the nearby airport. Great location to enjoy downtown Palm Springs! Enjoyed our morning walks in the neighborhood and meet some of the neighbors. Had a few minor issues and Vacasa and the Owner made them right immediately-greatly appreciated! We would certainly recommend friends to this house! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was completely stocked with every gadget you could think of. We enjoyed spending cocktail hour by the firepit. FYI tho...as we left...construction had started up in earnest for a business across the street. It was noisy. Don't know how long it will take but it bears keeping this issue in mind if you book this nice home. ##### Botts F. They had everything one would need for a bigger group. (We were just 2). The spa was barely hot enough to use at night (we didn't read the small print that said you need to pay extra to use the heater in the spa). Check in was a bit sketchy as they left the alarm system on, so when we unlocked the door, the alarm system went off and we couldn't turn it off. After we checked out, we were accused of leaving a stain on the carpet that we didn't do :-( We are very clean people and would have cleaned any mess we made so that kind of irritated us. ##### Julie S. Spent the week working from this great little house. My last VRBO rental was dirty and poorly kept up. This place couldn’t have been more different. It was spotless, quiet, close to town, totally well-equipped for my family to cook and clean, and had a lovely little yard that my dogs adored.
