I had a truck so I couldn’t park in the structure and had to park either far away from room or in street which I didn’t care for

Here's our take on Palm Canyon Resort: Pros: Despite some concerns about room conditions from other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. While the rooms are a bit dated, they're clean, and there have been some nice cosmetic updates. Our spacious room with a huge balcony and kitchenette suited our family perfectly. In fact, the bed was even more comfortable than the ones we had at the Westin earlier in the week. Plus, the resort's proximity to downtown Palm Springs, just 3 miles away, was a big plus. Cons: If you're here for the pool, brace yourself for an early morning rush. Folks start lining up at 8 am to snag chairs, and by 8:30, they're all gone. This can be frustrating if you're hoping to relax by the pool during peak times, especially during spring break when the resort seems to be at full capacity. As for dining options, the only choice within walking distance is the pool grill. And if you're a coffee lover like us, be prepared to make your own in-room brew, as there's no coffee available onsite. Overall, Palm Canyon Resort offers a comfortable stay with some minor inconveniences. It's a solid affordable choice for families looking for a mid-tier option with ample space and amenities, but be prepared to strategize your pool time and dining options accordingly.

Our room was smaller than we expected, there wasn't a bed skirt so we looked at a dirty mattress. Bathroom was outdated and you could hear the noisy neighbors. There needs to be a restaurant

We enjoyed the nice pool area and the basketball court. We only stayed one night as we passed through. Check in time was 4pm. The slide which our kids really wanted to enjoy closed at 5pm. The pool bar and food closed at 6pm. If you are only staying one night and are looking to enjoy these amenities I would reconsider the stay. Our room was in need of updating.

We made reservations 2 months in advance for family of 5. On arrival we were told that the room was not available due to overbooking. They sent us to a very not family friendly motel where my kids had to listen to a very R rated live drag show at 10:00 in the morning hosted by the motel in the pool area. Still waiting for compensation.

We unfortunately had a room due to be renovated and it showed. It also felt like the suite could have used a lounge chair or additional seating(?) Very odd furniture layout, tv, etc. However, staff, grounds, service, noise level, parking, etc. were all very satisfactory.

Room was spacious but you could occasionally hear your neighbors through the walls. Bed linens were threadbare. Pool area was very nice. Service from the staff was excellent. Very prompt to respond to requests. Location was good for downtown PS dining and activities. Overall would stay again if the price was right.

It was advertised as having a restaurant on site and breakfast available for purchase, but there was only a pool bar. Our room was also supposed to be 1 queen bed and it was a smaller double size bed.

We're sorry to see that your stay was not to your satisfaction. Depending on the room type on the reservation, the bed will either be a queen size bed or a king size bed. The smallest bed we have is in our studio units and is a queen bed. We apologize for the miscommunication with regards to where you can eat on property. Our pool bar is our only restaurant, and they do serve breakfast between 9am and 11am. If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Overall, this is a good place for a family to stay (we stayed in a 1 bedroom villa that had a kitchen and a sofa bed in the living room). Carpet was torn in one spot and furniture was a bit dated, but it was clean and spacious and mostly quiet.

The staff was nice. There was nothing to do on the property while we stayed there on a Saturday, which i found surprising. The air vent went on all night and dried out my nose, throat and made me feel like " what was i breathing in all night"? The carpet was very old with no padding. It was okay for an over night visit.
