Designed by noted Palm Springs Architect James Cioffi, this home takes full advantage of the views of the San Jacinto Mountains, featured as the backdrop to your pool, patio dining and entire outdoor lifestyle. You'll find the décor bright but soothing with its mix of contemporary and mid-century modern with Zen accents. Dramatic high ceilings, a wall of sliders, and large windows throughout make this home a desirable sanctuary all year round. The open great room floor plan with dining area and kitchen perfectly incorporates the indoor and outdoor living. The full patio that allows you to lounge poolside day or night with resort style pool and spa and a fire pit with ample seating to enjoy sunsets or after dinner lounging. The amply stocked kitchen is ideal for the experienced cook or the novice chef. Your friends and family can relax in the great room or marvel at your skills as they pull up to the kitchen bar while you prepare your meals. The great room offers comfortable and stylish seating to catch the big game on your wide screen 60” smart TV. This home offers the full technology package from high speed wireless internet, cable and Netflix is available (on some TVs). The primary suite is your own grand retreat. The suite features a King bed, a large TV and direct access to the pool with its own patio and conversation area. The primary bath is its own private sanctuary with soaking tub, large walk in shower and spacious walk-in closet. The second bedroom offers a queen bed. It's conveniently positioned as you enter through the front door, but behind the kitchen for great private access of its nearby hallway bathroom and it offers a great patio with street access (through a gate) but still enclosed for privacy while watching the sunset! The third bedroom, a secondary suite with its own en-suite bathroom, is perfect for those looking for maximize on space while not giving up on the comfort for their other guests. This "butterfly suite", designed for the homeowner’s sister, offers a King bed, 40” smart TV, walk-in closet, and step-in shower; this room will please any guest. The sparkling pool and spa alongside the outdoor fire pit make outdoor living a breeze. Luxuriate in the pool, or poolside in lounge chairs or just relax around the fire pit when the temperatures start to cool. (Pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information.) The outdoor patio also has a comfortable dining table for eight; the entire rear side of the house has been smartly equipped with shade structures. Just a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, you are never that far from enjoying what the city has to offer. Other Palm Springs attractions are never that far away, from area casinos to world-renowned sporting attractions like the BNP Paribas and ANA Inspiration (formerly the Dinah Shore Classic), and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. In Palm Springs, there is something for everyone. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. The rental was easy to check into, and although we had a couple very minor problems, they were addressed immediately. The house was clean, beautiful perfect for our girls weekend. The pool and hot tub were sparkling and warmed to perfection. The controls are in a somewhat awkward place, but nothing to ruin the experience. We did wish there were was additional lighting outside as we felt we were barbecuing in the dark. Possibly string lights, or a spotlight directed toward the barbecue would be nice. My less than perfect review to things that happened after we left. One of the girls left some jewelry in a drawer. Obviously our mistake. I reached out to our host and he offered to check with the new guests. He reported back that they had found the jewelry and he would pick it up and send me information on how to get it back. We were so grateful and feeling blessed as one item was an heirloom piece. However, I did not hear back from him and when I reached out, he told me it had been somehow lost or misplaced. We were so surprised and upset. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Was perfect for my husband & I. There was absolutely no noise. Very friendly neighborhood with neighbors walking their dogs. Plenty of pool floats. Plenty of outdoor seating & for sun or shade. It would be great if there were outdoor ceiling fans or misters. I called before our arrival to ask if there was a Keurig & was told NO. We then brought our own. We discovered a large Keurig, expresso maker & a regular coffee maker. All the indoor furniture was comfortable and clean. This is the perfect house for adults. Looking forward to our next visit. Great house. Don’t know that we’d stay again as the constant strong wind in that part of Palm Springs was an unwelcome surprise. It dramatically reduced our ability to enjoy the pool and outdoor areas. IIt was impossible to even have an umbrella to shield from the sun due to the wind. Very nice house. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth time renting from the fabulous team at Relax Palm Springs, and decidedly our favorite house yet! We were two couples, a teenager, and two lucky dogs, and the house was wonderfully spacious for all of us. We especially loved the expansive outdoor patio, the well-stocked kitchen, the bedroom-to-bathroom ratio, and the fireplace. As always, were were thrilled to arrive and sad to leave—but we'll definitely be back to this gem! A quick mention that this house is in the PSP flight path, but the noise didn't bother us and watching the planes is fun. ##### Laura H.
