We spent four days in the Alamanda in a 2 bedroom suite as part of a family reunion. The suite was spacious, comfortable. clean and surprisingly well-equipped - it felt more like a home than a hotel. The location is superb - right on the beach and backing on to a creek (sadly we never saw the crocodile that was reputed to live there!). And the facilities (three pools, including one for adults only) were all we could wish for.
"Fantastic hotel ..wonderful staff, wonderful room."
Just arrived back home to England ... yes, jet lagged, but worth every bit!! Paradise on the beach, thank you for making our holiday the once in a lifetime experience we were hoping for ... Thank all the owners, the staff, the cleaning ladies ... everyone!!! Everybody went that extra mile to help. Rooms were fantastic, location incredible, food next door (Apres) tasty and very handy. What else can I say? All our trips went smoothly thanks to the front tour desk staff ... thanks again! Don't even hesitate to book up ... swimming pool lovely too ... Palm Cove is beautiful ... Thank you guys ... Jill and Sylv xx
A great resort for those that just want some relaxation and walking distance to everything. Personal touch like honesty barand happy hour with punch and canapés each night was great chance to mingle with other guests
"Nice getaway within walking distance from the sea"
Staff were friendly and accommodating which is what you want after a long trip, situated smack in the middle of Palm Cove within walking distance to everything. So close to the beach you can almost hear the waves lapping at your door..

Staff unsure of how to book the Kuranda Train. Out of all the staff only one member (male) was extremely helpful with local public transport and places to go.
Alot of children at this hotel so if you are not a fan i would stay somewhere else. The hotel needs an urgent change of their pool side menu. Needs to reflect the menu at other Pullman Resorts such as the one in Legian Bali. They do not have the staple items such as a club sandwich or traditional steak sandwich. Need pool side service.
Showers need better heads that actually spray down and in one direction.
Apart from the above the hotel was excellent.

Stayed here for four nights, the staff were extremely, extremely helpful and friendly. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub but it was pretty dated and probably not worth it, would prefer a regular shower. Kitchenette with 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, and plates/cutlery was helpful for eating small meals in to save money. Pretty nice location, close to cafes and the beach but no views of the water.
The room was small but very clean, had the all the basics you need to be able to be self sufficient and I was able to cook most of our meals at home, do the laundry, etc. The new deck, outside area and pool are the highlights of the stay. The airconditioner worked well, the bed comfortable and it was lovely to choose to eat on the balcony or inside. Our hosts kept a very low profile, but that didn't bother me. Palm Cove is beautiful, stunning in fact, but the restaurants are pricey so it was excellent to be able to cook own meals and save a lot of money. Undergound parking was great too.
