Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. "Our stay at the Lankavatara was perfect. The location was idyllic and perfect for a relaxing, quiet getaway with a long stretch of stunning beach that we more or less had to ourselves. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with a good menu of local dishes and other choices. For our first time visiting Sri Lanka, we had one of the best holidays ever!!"

"Amazing experience with safari booked via this stay. The hotel is located in the jungle of udawalawe and the hosts were absolutely lovely. A lot of food options just ten minutes walk as well. Only issue was the chanting on a megaphone which was very loud which started at 4am until 6am and monkeys jumping up and down and running across the roof so I didn’t manage to get much sleep!"
