The property itself was clean, comfortable and functional, and could use some updates, but we knew this from the listing and previous reviews. We loved the eagles’ nest bunk bed loft and the huge, comfy couch in the living room. The location is great - a 5-minute drive to Pallsades even with holiday traffic. A few things could use some TLC: the stove is quite dated and one of the two toilets flushed poorly. The heat (a combo of baseboard heating and wall panels) was persnickety. Overall we were happy to find this place for a last-minute holiday-weekend stay.
