Modest hotel close to the airport. We called a day ahead to ask about getting to the hotel from the airport, and Claudio picked us up for an amount less than cab fare, then took us back next morning. He also suggested a place for dinner, and took us there and back. We had a comfortable though modest room on the ground floor; breakfast was ample. There is also a small patio in the front where it's pleasant to sit in the early evening. This place is in a local residential neighborhood which is a bit noisy, but quiets down in time for sleep!
We were there for 3 days and was a good hotel and base to visit other areas around like Palermo and north area of Sicily. Just OK to have dinner and we found difficult to find good restaurants around. Breakfast was good with hot food. Room was good size . Hotel in general was dated but was good for what we needed on our way around Sicily. Also to mention that we arrived early and were nice to gave us a room at the reception.
Bus stop to Palermo is located nearby. Continental breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Stone beach is nearby. Apartment kitchen was good. Sink, kitchenware, little stove, fridge. Close to airport. Very beautiful scenery.

We stayed here after flying into Palermo quite late. We found it a bit tricky to find although when we rang we were given good directions and someone even came outside to guide us in which was appreciated.
The rooms were ample for our family of four and all slept well.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made welcome and all our needs were attended to. The staff were all polite, friendly and accommodating, despite our inability to speak Italian! We arrived before check in time, but were allowed to leave our suitcases at the hotel whilst we explored the local area. When we came back our bags had already been taken to our room for us and everything went smoothly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We were provided with more than enough space for hanging and putting away clothes, a lovely bathroom with a powerful shower and a delightfully comfortable bed. We slept well every night as the room was cool and the area was very quiet and peaceful. We ate in the hotel restaurant two of the nights that we stayed, and were impressed with the level of service and quality of food. The hotel overall had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and I would recommend it highly for anyone who wants to escape reality in beautiful Sicily.

The standards of hotels and b&b's have been taken to another level after staying at terrasole. The kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of Filippo and Antonella (the owners) was amazing. Before we even arrived i received a text message to see if we needed any help with transport or anything. I arranged to be picked up from the airport and Fillipo welcomed us with open arms. When we arrived at the b&b (15min drive from airport) he invited us to have some tea and a slice of his home made cake. Apart from being a great host he is an amazing baker! We were then shown to our room which was newly refurbished and looked amazing. Definitely the best accommodation we stayed in whilst travelling all over Italy for two weeks. The town centre is 5 minutes away with great restaurants recommended by Fillipo and the beach is also a 5 minute walk. It felt like staying with good friends rather than at a b&b, I wish we had planned to stay longer! I can't recommend this place enough.
Clean and comfortable within easy walk of the town centre for restaurants and bars. Room was new with an excellent en-suite. Couple who run the B & B were friendly and one spoke good English and provided a cheap transfer to Palermo airport. Generous breakfast with help yourself food and coffee made to order. Would recommend and stay again.
A historic city in Sicily, Palermo is home to 1.2 million people. Its 2,700-year-old history is vast, encompassing Phoenician, Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, and Norman rule. Because of its rich history, the area is laden with numerous archaelogical gems.
