Great place minutes from airport
Great place just minutes from PP airport. Attentive staff, nice pool, clean room, good wifi, good hot water pressure for showers. Nice breakfast provided each morning. We stayed three nights total.

The reception never answer the phone so I couldn’t arrange my free airport pickup, it was inexpensive so no big deal. Room was clean, however wasn’t able to lock or unlock the door so changed rooms, no problem with the second. Stunning views from the fourth floor where breakfast was served. Didn’t use the pool, looked OK. Central location, good hotel for my two nights!

We had a room without a window - well there was a window but facing some dirty in-building facade so basically you need to have curtains on all the time. The room was super small, it had a tiny bathroom where we could barely move. The bed was old and the size was more as for 1 person - each time we moved we had to do this super carefully to not fall on the floor (sleepless night). The cleaning staff was pleasant, but the receptionist looked like she does not want to be there. We stayed there one night only before our flight (free airport shuttle, takes 15 min), but I would choose another hotel next time, as we could not fall asleep on this bed anyway...

Great stay close to the airport
Perfect place to stay before a flight from Puerto Princesa. Nice pool area, breakfast included, great service including a free transfer to the airport. Only downside is that wifi is only available in the reception area.

Ipil was a pretty much place. It was a little bit of a walk from the main intersection. But it was close enough to bike rentals, plenty of places to eat, bars, etc. The breakfast was fantastic and the pool was clean. It was a great deal and hotel all around for PPS, I'd highly recommend.

Stay was good!!
Our stay was very good. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The area is excellent, close to so many restaurant. They have free breakfast and shuttle to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Extended stay
We initially booked for 2 days while touring city center. End up booking for 2 more times. We choose the place because they have pool and near the airport (15-20mins away). Hotel staffs were great! Breakfast buffet not fun with, I dont expect too much since I dont really eat in the morning.

MUST READ (Great info for foreigners)
Firstly, the hotel is situated in the town. Very close to some nice restaurants. However, wifi absolutely sucks here, not only are you limited to the lobby to get wifi but you are also limited to the lobby or the stairs to get cellphone signal on your phone. The overall facilities could improve as there is literally a bed, tv, towel, a pitcher and two drinking glasses, a desk and chair in the room. I would have rated the staff higher had I not had a bad experience with one staff member. She literally lied to me about the cost of transportation when I just got there, she told me that one trip less than a kilo was 250 - 300 pesos when in reality its no more than 40 pesos and actually the residents pay 10 pesos. To add insult to injury, I asked her for recommendations for a good seafood place which she recommended and called a "tricycle" for me. They seemed to be working together because he told me the same figure that she said. She also charged me twice for early checking, after I had paid for it upon my arrival with cash, she placed it on my bill again. I told the hotel all of this when checking out but given that I don"t know what will happen I think people should be aware and be on their guards. The other staff members were very good, they were helpful, friendly and provided good recommendations when asked. The breakfast was pretty much the same for the entire trip, that definitely needs to change because it gets quite boring, especially if you stay for long periods.

Since the airport has moved to the opposite side of the airfield, transept is very hard to get.A major factor. Hotel is pleasant clean, safe,location a bit set back. Improvements in the expansion, rooms a bit small space wise, yet convenient. Overall 1-5 scale 2.5. Empoyees make up all the differences where certain things are lacking. I also had to realise where i am at and country.

Great hotel near the airport
Even though we only stayed one night, we really enjoyed our time at Ipil. The pool was warm and clean. The staff were super friendly and the food was pretty good! It was also in a handy location for us as it was near the airport. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing would be is that the rooms near a bit of a refresher, but for the price we paid we definitely cannot complain. Thanks Ipil!

Nice hotel but terrible wifi
The staff were friendly and very accommodating to everything from booking our day trips to our meals. The only downside to this is that the wifi was awful that we couldn't get any signal. This made the most impact because we are two visitors who did not have access to the local services.

all the hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. room was clean and beds comfortable. I love that there was ref as most hotels in Palawan does not have refrigerator. the only thing is that the aircon was located on the top wall on the side of the bed, so the vent is facing the upper portion of our bodies and blowing cold air directly on our faces and backs. It should have been located on the wall by the foot of our bed so that the air will blow directly on us but not on our faces. Also they do not serve lunch so we were forced to eat out during lunch when it was hot.

Very nice hotel!
We had an amazing stay. We arrived there late and gave us a better room than the one we had paid for. Comfortable beds and with AC. People were really nice. Breakfast was ok. Then they took us to the airport ( free)

Location of hotel across the airport, conveniient
Staff were nice and friendly. No elevator, we had to climb 3 floors. We were on the 3rdfloor. Food was served cold. Toilet seat was loose. Air con was too cold when on, hard to control.

Probably the best hotel in Elnido town. Cozy room (took the one with a queen bed), great service and very good breakfast. Will definitely come back to this one! (Tried some others in the town..)

Nice hotel but far away from the beach.
Comfy bed and room. Very close to the airport (PPS) - shuttle van service is provided by the hotel. This hotel is away from the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast which is already included- great view.

Stayed in this hotel for one night due to its close proximity to the airport. The rooms are small and basic but perfect for a one night stay before a flight. What stands out about this hotel is the staff and there customer service they were excellent. They helped us with our flight booking and printed our flight details. They arranged our transfer to the airport which was complimentary. Nothing was too much trouble for them by far the best customer service we experienced while travelling in The Philippines

best in the area
This hotel is only 5 mins walk to the airport and 10 peso in the Trike to town. Nice area and no hassle from anyone. You will get cocks and dogs as well as bird calls but that will be normal in this area. Other places I have seen are really noisy in town. The best experience of this place are the staff are great. They are all friendly and helpful. And I mean extremely helpful. One thing I need to mention as I made the mistake is the accommodation in the top floor is private and had no Sign to state this or lock on the door. Also the hotel is down a road which is made of stones and dirt. Lucky for me it stopped raining the day before so only a small puddle was there but I can imagine if it rained heavy I would have got really dirty. The walk to the road is maybe 2mins. Trikes are 24hours and you can get one without any problems. Their laundry is efficient and the wifi is reasonable but I had the room in the back which wifi is not that strong and cuts out a lot. Only thing I would say that would improve this place is to have a safe in the room

The hotel is new, clean and the staff are very accommodating. My plans changed several times, during my stay, but the staff were fantastic at helping me. I would definitely stay there again.
