"The property is an old renovated and comfortable house with a pleasant garden in a small villagge. The owners, Sigrid and Manuel, welcomed us like family. Sigrid is an excellent cook and prepared us, as we requested, a light dinner including home made gazpacho, tomato bread, charcuterie and other local specialties. "The staff were friendly and very helpful. The house and garden were quirky and arty and in easy reach of everything. The meal with wine tasting was interesting and enjoyable, it was good to be able to sit outside to eat. The property was also easy to find and we could park nearby."

"Not easy to find but helped to locate by an English speaking friend of the proprietor on the telephone. Joined other guests and family for the evening meal in the lovely outdoor garden dining area. After helping ourselves to the continental breakfast provided we spent a lovely hour in the outdoor swimming pool before our departure."

"The accommodation was fine. However, we were at the very end of the hotel so accessing the bar and restaurants was a lengthy walk. Breakfast was very good with a great variety of options. Unfortunately, althought our starter at dinner was lovely, I chose cod which was dry, overcooked and full of bones. My husband, although he ordered a hamburger, got a very grizzly steak which was inedible. When we told the waiter, he didn't really care. Just shrugged and said fish have bones. "

"The staff were so helpful from booking to departure. The room was well equipped with everything that you might need including a good coffee machine and kettle, dressing gowns and slippers, hairdryer and straightening tongs, the mini bar included soft drinks. I really enjoyed the stay here "

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hosts who have good recommendations and were very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing, the rooms spacious, and breakfast was lovely. It is a little off the beaten track but that added to the charm for us. Would definitely return. "
