Terrace + Rooftop. BN. Quiet and cozy apartment with sea and mountain views just 75 meters from the beach. High in the trees and overlooking the town? Staying in the Bird Nest apartment will make you feel like you are in a bird‘s nest. Due to its location, you will be able to relax as you will be in your own little vacation bubble. Take a glass of wine in the evening (or during the day ;)) while enjoying the stunning views of Tamariu and its beach through pine trees. This lovely cosy apartment is located only 75 meters from the beach, in a residential street where only neighbours go. The apartment is on a ground floor, facing south. The bedroom is comfortable and very bright as it has a large window facing to the village. It has an air split for climatization and it’s airy and open. The kitchen is new and well equipped for a comfortable stay. This apartment has a very large rooftop terrace shared with one other resident of the house (there are only two apartments), where you can dry your clothes in the sun, sunbathe, read a book surrounded by nature or play with your kids. Practical details: 1 Bedroom with a queen sized bed 1 Living room with a sofa bed, dining table and a TV. The sofa bed is allowed only for 1 child and upon explicit request. Open Kitchen. Bathroom with shower. Washing machine Air Split (hot & cold) Private Balcony and shared Terrace. Tamariu: Tamariu is an old beach town of Palafrugell, where until a few years ago fishing was the main activity. Over the years it has become a place of great tourist attraction, especially for its unique nature and coastline cliffs. There are two supermarkets in Tamariu, ten restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, two bakeries, three hotels and a few shops where you can utensils and beachwear. There is also a diving center, kayak rental and boat rental agency. On Saturday night, during the summer season, there are usually different types of music on the Boulevard. Music styles that go from "Havaneres" to "Disco" music. Bars and restaurants don't stay open until late though. Tamariu is a place that is focussed on families. There is only one bar on La Riera that remains open until after 1 am. Some great old traditions are still celebrated in town, such as celebrations like: Sta. Maria on August 15th, "sardinadas" or popular "garoinadas", Las Fiestas de Primavera de Palafrugell, La festa dels Indianos of Begur, Mercat Boig of Llafranc, etc ... Transportation: We recommend coming by car to Tamariu for your best convenience. In case you do, there is a very economical parking located in the pine forest when entering Tamariu. A tourist tax of €1.10 per person per night is required, as well as a damage deposit (except for Airbnb bookings), not included in the rental price. These are payable through our Online Guest Portal. If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to notify us when making the reservation; otherwise, you may incur additional costs during your stay. House Rules: \- Smoking and parties of any kind are prohibited. \- Quiet hours: 10 PM - 9 AM \- Persons under 25 years of age are not permitted on the property unless accompanied by their guardians. \- Pets are not allowed. \- Keep surfaces clean and free of food. Rinse off any traces of sunscreen. The property is in a natural environment, and failure to do so will attract ants. \- Be responsible with the use of electrical devices and lights. Turn them off when not in use or when you are out of the apartment. \- Be mindful of water usage; this is an area with severe drought. The bathroom has a smell of sewage which is apparently a problem in the town, so you'll want to keep the doors closed. We had a nice, relaxing stay in Tamariu.
