"We had a great week in Can Pauet. The house and especially the outdoor area are very nice, and the pool is great. Air conditioning is actually only on the upper floor of the main building, this should be made clearer in the description. But the climate in the house was still pleasant and there were still fans available. The stock of glasses could be refilled, but these are really only small things. The house is absolutely recommendable."

"Pros: Das Haus ist wunderschön, liegt etwa 10 min vom Strand mit dem Auto aber das ist das kleinste Problem . Die Einrichtung vom Haus ist altmodische aber voll intakt. Das ist das wichtigste. "Pros: Die Terrasse und die Klimaanlage waren super! Innerhalb von Canet kann alles Wichtige zu Fuß erreicht werden. Und mit dem Zug ist man innerhalb von 50 Minuten in Barcelona. Auch nach Figueres kann man einfach mit dem Zug fahren. Cons: Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, hat man keinen Parkplatz. Das kann mitunter beschwerlich sein. Hat man einen gefunden, braucht man das Auto aber nicht mehr."

"Pros: This was a perfect holiday, especially for the kids. They spent almost the whole day in the pool. There's also a jacuzzi, though we barely used it since it was so hot during our stay. For the same reason, we unfortunately didn't get to use the private tennis court either. We did enjoy plenty of darts and table tennis instead, and the large living room was pleasantly cool indoors. RVHotels Vila de Tossa

10/10 Excellent

"A charming, comfortable stay in a great location I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has a traditional character that I really liked—it adds to the charm and atmosphere of the place. Despite the very hot weather outside, the room temperature was perfect. It was comfortable and well maintained, with a pleasant ambient temperature without feeling overly cold from the air conditioning. The location is excellent, very close to the station and also very close to the beach. I especially loved having a balcony—it made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in was also very easy and straightforward. I was surprised by some of the reviews saying that it was complicated. In my experience, it was simply the normal modern process of online check-in, and everything went smoothly. Overall, I had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the hotel. Don’t be put off by the reviews about check-in—it was easy and hassle-free for me."

"The rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very comfortable. The buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice, and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. We paid around £480 for the night, and although we enjoyed our stay, I simply don't think the hotel experience justified that level of pricing. In my view, around £300 per night would have been much more appropriate for this type of hotel. That said, I appreciate we stayed during peak August season and booked at relatively short notice, which will obviously have influenced the rate. Overall, a very good family hotel with excellent rooms and a good buffet, just significantly overpriced for our stay."
