We used it as base camp for Lower Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend sunset overlook and upper river boat trip, Glen Canyon Dam, swimming in Lake Powell, south rim Grand Canyon and dinosaur tracks. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Horsehoe Bend house was big enough for all of us to gather for dinners and bday party. Great host and communication. The host provided a wealth of information about local attractions and restaurants, boating on Lake Powell, and the houses in general. I compiled all of her emails into a packet I distributed to each of our houses, and it ended up being 7 pages long (and it wasn’t all house rules, it was mostly stuff like “watch your speed near the dam, the police like to camp out there”, or “here’s a website where locals post about lake conditions and boat ramp openings”, or “here are the Wi-fi passwords”).
