"Cute little inn near main attractions in Monterey"
My husband and I had our first little family trip with our 2 month old daughter in Monterey. We were looking for a place close to the aquarium and found this cute little inn. I was pleasantly surprised of how nice the room was and you can tell it was recently remodeled. We requested a crib and it was already in the room. The bathroom was pretty big and we had a nice king size bed.
The cons: the quality of the channels on the tv were blurry and there was one towel in the bathroom that seemed used and dirty with stains.
Overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay at this cute little inn and would suggest others to stay here.
We had a great stay at the Lighthouse Lodge and Cottage. The location is only a few block from the coast, and right around the corner from the Point Pinos golf course and lighthouse. The outside of the hotel looks a little dated, but the rooms was clean and modern. The breakfast was really good, and made for a great start to each day.
The reviews on the rooms being somewhat dated were acurate. I enjoyed having coffee and reading on the balcony in the morning. I did not see any deer!!.. I was bummed.. I should of gotten up a little earlier. The bed was really comfortable and the hotel staff very helpful. The location was on point. We had a nice dinner at TheBeach House literally a few blocks away. Great walking paths and ocean views..
It Is nice clean hotel in an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They serve a good little continental breakfast. The only drawback was the size of my room. The bathroom sink was almost next to the bed. The bath and toilet room was so small you could barely shut the door when inside. Since I wAs there by myself it wasn't a problem. I would not want to share the room.

Hotel was hard to find. In a residential
neighborhood. No place to walk to.
Peaceful, had to walk 3 flights up, no elevators. So you would have to request ground floor if you have any trouble with stairs. Room and breakfast were good.
Pacific Grove, known to locals as “P.G.,” marks the northern end of the 17-mile drive along Pebble Beach’s famed golf courses. Point Pinos lighthouse, the oldest under continuous use on the West Coast, stands 85 feet above the Pacific. Monarch butterflies rest their orange and black wings at nearby Monarch Grove Sanctuary.
