"First, the house is located directly bayfront which I didn’t think was clear on the listing so that was a pleasant surprise. The house is spacious enough for a small family of 4-5 with a cozy living area, deck overlooking the bay which is wonderful in the evening. As an honest review, I will say that the bed in the master bedroom is extremely hard and the appliances are dated with the toaster not working properly and the coffee maker rusted. Many lights are burnt out or not working which was disappointing for the gazebo since we couldn’t make use of the space after dark to eat dinner or play games as a family. Overall we had a good time but having stayed on this island multiple times before, this has been my least favorite rental just for the lack of very essential items that other rentals offer. There is a dishwasher, no detergent, no trash bags, no bath mat in the master bathroom or scrubbing pad for the pans. A few alterations would make this a very nice rental."
