This hotel, one of the Holiday Inn Express chain, is a budget hotel and a comfortable place to stay. It is next to the Oxford United football ground. This might be an issue for you on a match day.
Room was cleaner than ever stayed in before. Towels and bedding looked brand new. Room was huge. Bathroom was too. Breakfast was plentiful and choice was great. Very accommodating staff. Truly the perfect stay.
A fabulous hotel, really made our break. We loved the bar/lounge area as it was very relaxing. We loved the hotel decor too! Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly, answering our questions and telling us about Oxford. A fabulous stay - thank you!
Hotel staff were very welcoming and arranged car parking very efficiently. A bit of late night noise from some of the local nightclubs and from a few inconsiderate residents. Room clean and comfortable, bathroom clean but a bit on the small side. Breakfast taken at a nearby cafe was interesting with ...
We were in Oxford for a conference which was two minutes from the hotel. The bus stop was just round the corner for buses into the city centre. Restaurants and shops in walking distance. - Great.
Checked in at 21:20 with kitchen shutting in 10 minutes. Offered the sandwich menu, which was just what I needed. Staff all very welcoming. Plus a double bed when only twin available to book; bonus.
This hotel has everything you really need at a decent price -especially compared to what you have to pay a couple of miles up the road in Oxford. Reception was very good: friendly and efficient . Very clean. For example. in lots of expensive hotels the towels look clean but smell. Here the towels ...
There are conference centres spread right across the county of Oxfordshire, from smaller non-residential establishments around the likes of Bicester and Brize Norton to grand venues such as Blenheim Palace. If you're looking for a conference centre anywhere in the county you'll also have easy access to a range of accommodation options, including B&Bs, guesthouses and smart hotels. However, to be sure of a base within close proximity of a suitable venue, guests often prefer not to take any chances and to book in to a specialist Oxfordshire conference centre hotel.
Whether you're visiting Oxfordshire with well-deserved leisure time in mind or are here for work-related purposes, the county offers a wealth of attractions that will make your stay a most enjoyable one. Oxfordshire has the infrastructure in place for productive business as well as sporting and leisure activities, and a conference centre hotel will be just the thing for a visiting executive. The staff will be well versed in handling the particular requirements of conference delegates and you'll have the front desk as a one-stop-shop for your personal and professional needs. As the majority of conference centre hotels in Oxfordshire are a short stroll or at the most a quick drive from the nearest conference venue, you'll be able to maximise your time effectively.
With conference centre hotels in Oxfordshire, such as The Frog in Henley-on-Thames and the Red Lion Hotel Adderbury in Banbury, offering all the facilities needed for a time-optimised flying business trip, they make the perfect choice for executives in a hurry. The conference venue itself will normally have a comprehensive range of facilities for business users, but as delegates may be attending over several days they'll also need a base where they can continue communicating with colleagues back at the office. A business suite at the hotel will address these requirements, and with high-speed in-room broadband and easy access to the likes of printers and fax machines, there's no reason to stop being productive. The hotel staff, too, will be trained especially to deal with the needs of professional guests.
